Identical to broken element. Followed test to identify broken element, oven and light turns on but no heat.This was easy to replace as decribed in some of the other reviews, also plenty on youtube as most elements work the same way regardless of brand.Unscrew 4 screws that holds up a screen, 3 more screws for the element, the hardest bit was getting the wires of the old element but using some pliers it came off, reverse the instructions, all done.Thanks to the previous reviews for adding the model of the oven, mine was Indesit IDD 6340 ix

I recently purchased this oven heating element and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the product. Firstly, the heating element fits perfectly in my oven, which was a huge relief. It was a seamless installation and it works just as expected.I am thrilled to have my oven back up and running like new again!After our electrics tripped I found the fault was the oven, I was busy looking for a new one before my Father suggested it was the element, I looked on the official site for my model and it was roughly 7 times the cost of this. As per the title correct size and fitted ok in 5 mins to oven. With the added bonus of the oven getting hot when switched on. Looks almost the same as tbe one that came out.
