OFF Familycare Smooth and Dry Insect Repellent, 4 Ounce

This is a brilliant product. Loved the grease free spray with no marking on clothes. Used it for a month in a very heavy mosquito area in the Med. The weather forecast even has a mosquito warning on the summary page! Have used other commercial products and have still been bitten. Once bitten the area becomes very red and swollen requiring cream treatments and bandaging. This time no bites day or night.Will be placing another order for the next trip.

Bitten once in two weeks in Mexico using this product. Definitely keeps the mossies away.

Brilliant stuff this, friends with us in Egypt were using repellent from a supermarket and got eaten alive. My partner, son and myself not one bite in 8 days.

No mosquito bites but didn't help with the sand flies.

Purchased some of this it Egypt and was fantastic. Purchased some from here but still got bitten badly in Mexico. Also didn't last very long.

Best insect repellent on the market, have used for over 20 years

I have tried many insect repellants because every time I go outside I get bitten by mosquitoes. Picardin in several formulations, DEET cream but they all feel sticky afterwards which makes my day uncomfortable. Finally discovered this and stocked up because it feels like I haven't put anything on my skin, yet it effectively repels mosquitos. Love it!

This is not shiny and sticky when you put it on. It also has a very mild scent compared to most DEET products. This is my go to insect repellent for social use when I don't want to smell, feel and look like I'm wearing insect repellent. Because of the DEET it is still very effective. I prefer this over the OFF Familycare Unscented because of the dry spray. It is more effective than the OFF Botanicals.

Does not have the odor of most conventional type insect repellants but it's pricey and doesn't last terribly long. Frankly, I now seek out the natural products with lemon grass/eucalyptus/rosemary and have found them to be extremely effective. By the way, at the date of this writing, 4.19.15, Costco has a 3 pack of this stuff for a great price. 3 for $15 as I recall.

Ok, It's definitely a color choice. Can you live with the slight white powder residue or do you prefer the red welts and blood stains from the horrendous itching and scratching that result from mosquitoes and no-see-ums? I'm going with the slight white powder residue. It works!
