The Periodic Table Book: A Visual Encyclopedia of the Elements

Great book with clear text and fabulous illustrations. My grandaughter is going to love it as she loves science and will love learning about the periodic tables. Actually the book would be suitable for adults too.

Bought for a teenager but I'd like to keep it! Lots of intriguing facts and beautifully illustrated. Includes basic information as well as more advanced details, so a chemistry novice like me can learn a lot by just flicking through.

Bought for son as a present and he loves it. He is currently going through all of the elements.It is very well done and shows all elements of the periodic table.

I bought this book for myself. I am preparing for higher education. I am not a native English speaker. The language of the book is easily understandable, and the picture representation makes it easier to memorise the elements.Besides that, I think it could have a more detailed periodic table, including the elements and ionisation energy, or explain the bonding between elements.

Well presented, stimulating, full of factual knowledge as you would expect from a D K book.
