I am very pleased with how good scoot worked

We were having Foxes coming into our garden and and soiling the lawn, most days and nights, since I spayed the lawn and the paths the foxes are no longer coming into our garden.

Doesn’t work!

Doesn’t work! Fox just peed all over it and carried on digging to get back under the summerhouse!Make sure to wear a mask when making it. I almost passed out, my face went numb and it was terrifying. Do not breathe near it!! Make it outdoors! The way we ended up deterring our foxes was putting plastic spikes on the fences, bird netting along the top and surrounding the summerhouse with flagstones and concrete. It took us a month of trying different things. They did try to dig the concrete and they did move a few stones. So we bought larger rocks and flags. So the foxes then came in and left poops on rocks. I think they were mad at us for blocking digging access. They often barked at us.We also disinfected the garden every day to remove the fox pee scent and eventually they just forgot about us and moved on. They also don’t like it when you move things around and disturb them. The fox alarms didn’t work on one fox, he just sat on it and carried on digging. The other fox who beat the first fox up and took his territory didn’t like the alarms. He would pull them out of the ground and move them to another part of the garden. We also have a siren on our garden Eufy camera, so it would often go off when it was triggered by foxes. They would run from the alarm.Hope our story helps. We had a hard time getting rid of the foxes.

Does the job, but multiple applications needed

I had problems with fox fouling in my back garden for many weeks. I have a really small garden, so having a new 'deposit' or two there every morning, especially in the rainy Irish climate, was really depressing and smelly. Online research led me to Scoot, and it has worked really well. It's important to note that you have to do regular spray downs for a couple of weeks, however-- don't just do one application and think you're done. I think that's what happened for some of the other reviewers. Scoot works because it makes the fox think a larger, scarier predator has visited your garden. If the smell of Scoot fades after a few days (due to rain or just time), the fox will think it's safe to return again. The idea is to apply Scoot over a longer, sustained period, so that the fox thinks this new predator has claimed your garden permanently, gives up, and moves on to some other spot. I used it every 2-3 days over a period of 2 weeks, and so far so good. The other option I turned up in my research was a (quite expensive) high pitched noise emitter, but since my neighbors have a dog, and I didn't want to drive him completely insane, I went with Scoot, and I'm happy with the result. As a bonus, the product doesn't smell strongly to a human nose, so it was no problem to be in the garden myself after spraying it down.

Seems to work so give it a go

We had problems with foxes digging up our garden on a daily basis, and then started to foul too. I had a solar powered motion sensing sound deterrent which seems to be good apart from the batteries go dead so quickly that you're constantly having to recharge with the USB, on a daily basis, which isn't great. So got this as another solution. I bought the 2 x sachet packet, used a whole sachet around the garden, which is very small and mixed it up very highly concentrated. A fox still came and dug/pooped a day or two later, however it had rained the night i put it out (frustrating!) so maybe some had washed away/watered it down. So i used the 2nd sachet and did the same. The foxes haven't been back for 3 weeks or so now. It's difficult to say whether it's actually the Scoot or the fact that i've covered almost every visible surface earth with tarp! (though that didn't stop them before). I think basically, when you have fox issues in your garden, you get so exasperated that you'll try anything, does this work? I think it definitely helps but its not the holy grail of fox deterrents and is quite expensive per sachet.

Def not good and a waste of money

I need to add this to the review as I left one about 2 weeks ago which I write below but since then nothing has changed and today was worse than ever with them messing all over the garden so it’s safe to say if you have a big problem with foxes not just 1 no and then don’t bother buyer any of these repellents they don’t work at all and I have tried 3 over the last few months.Don’t waste your money unless maybe if like I said have 1 now and then it may work.Don’t know what else to try now as I’m not spending no more of all this stuff. We really need to be honest about these fox repellent stuff that are for sale.If you have problems which I do with fox messing everywhere in your garden then I had no choice but to try some things as I’m so fed up with it all every morning and stinks.I have tried a few others and not had any luck at all then I got told to try this which I have been using now for over a week. The first few days I did not see any change the foxes were still messing averywhere but after about 4 days I am seeing a Improvement I think anyway as they are still coming in the garden but not as much mess as there has been so it’s either this is working a bit or it’s just there getting bored of my garden and going next door to do it.I have used nearly all of it as I had to spray it all over the garden. You will prob never get a 100% working repellent as we know but to ease it would be great so def give a go and don’t use 1 sachet to 9litres prob about 6 litres to make it stronger it should help more hopfully.
