Long lasting
I have bought this bulb before and it is longer lasting than some you buy and splash proof as well

Very impressed!
Well worth the money! The bulb hasn't blown yet despite refilling the tank several times and being splashed by my clumsy Slider and skittish Map. The bulbs feel very strong and sturdy and the terrapins are basking as usual. I will definitely buy these in future instead of wasting money on cheaper ones that blow within a week!

Bulb blew.
Within 30 minutes of turning it on, the bulb blew. Might be a rare occurrence but either way I wouldnt use this again.

Lasted less than a week
Only use it for daylight hours above a turtle tank and it blew within a few days. Not cheap, very disappointed!

Keeps my turtle happy!
Our other bulb burned out so this was a replacement. I will only use this brand for bulbs. They last a long time - maybe have to replace once per year? My turtle is basking under it so I know it’s working!

Long lasting
UPDATE:I ordered this in May 2017 and it is Oct 2018 and the bulb has finally wore out after every day use of 12 to 15 hour days. This thing went strong and I would buy it again but I need a UVA/UVB lamp but when my other lamp goes I will replace it with this one.This has been the heat lamp for my turtle that I have ever had. I have had it for almost a year and it is still going strong.
