XlearSinus Care Saline Nasal Spray with Xylitol, 45ml (1.5oz)

I'm so happy to have found this nasal spray! Wow the benefits of xylitol!*Not paid this is just what I swear by now*Background:I have had sinus issues for YEARS! Seen doctors, been on steroids nasal sprays etc. Gone to bed with an ice pack and hot water bottle so I can tell you I know the struggle.This spray has helped so much I've recommended it to people I know. If the spray does get to the back of your throat it actually has a pleasant sweet taste (not a nasty taste like the normal nasal sprays) just make sure you spray it at the right angle.I use this and later on I may rinse my nose with the Stérimar saline congestion relief spray which is also good!Fun fact: Xylitol breaks down the biofilm of bacteria in nasal cavity (so it doesn't kill the bacteria but it stops it from adhering to the surfaces) and then a saline rinse can be used to clear all of that out.It's also a great preventative measure that supports your bodies natural ability to flush out pathogens

I've had nasal/ear/sinus problems for years - any sign of a decent cold and often my ears end up congested and then often follow by an inner ear infection. After a particularly nasty ear infection I decided to look around for natural routes to reduce the chances of future ones occurring - I guess I'll never know if Xylitol works or not unless I never get another infection, but compared to the rebound chances from normal decongestant sprays and tablets, and the strangely nice 'back of the throat' taste from the Xylitol spray, I'm going to give this few months of trial - I do think that after getting through the first bottle, my ears do feel a bit better in general - perhaps a little more open and crisp - given I have problems with my hearing from both past infection issues and also Eustachian tube imbalance, this crispness to my hearing is a nice improvement.

Will not go without it. Marvellous, clear nasal passages.

I have vasomotor rhinitis, and even when I don't have a blocked nose, it still feels like I do. Steroid nasal sprays are the only things that work for me, but of course they only work for a week.Xlear is supplied in a bottle with slightly awkward wings that you press to spray it. I'm never quite sure how to do this properly as I can't seem to hook two fingers over and use my thumb to push the bottle up. Weirdly my hand isn't big or strong enough, so I normally have to use two hands. The spray instantly makes your sinuses tingle. It's the kind of feeling that makes your eyes screw up and your lips curl. You then get a sweet taste at the back of your throat, which others have mentioned they dislike, but I find completely unoffensive.Following use I get a bit sniffly (which is good as blowing my nose is usually impossible), so I have to use long before I start applying makeup. The BEST part is within 10-20 minutes of use, stuff starts coming out of my nose that I can't even believe was up there, and I have never been able to get out of there any other way, even with a Neti pot.I've been using twice daily for two weeks, and although this hasn't made a significant impact on my sinuses, it does provide me with some daily joy of being able to blow my nose properly for the first time in years. I hope that following continued use the years of snot will eventually deplete and I'll be a normal person again. Hopefully.

Sick of using nasal sprays that do nothing, and that dreadful chemical taste down the back of your throat, this is just a bit salty. Clears nose better, more expensive but the bottle size is over double the size of the others

I’ve been using Xlear now for a few years. It cleans your nasal passages, and helps to prevent things that you might breathe in that would disturb you, like pollen, pollution and even viruses, from latching on to your membranes. Perhaps this is coincidence, but perhaps not: I have not had any respiratory issues since I started using it.
