I read negative reviews before I make a purchase. I like to get a sense of the problems I might encounter with a product despite a ton of positive reviews. I understand that some purchasers of this bench have found the legs to be light or hollow and the top to be easily cracked or damaged with minimal use.After getting this bench today. my experience is far far different. Maybe they changed the product? I was all set for something flimsy and was preparing myself for some possible DIY reinforcement, but this thing is solid. I have no idea how some reviewers have split this thing down the middle with minimal usage. It has cross supports underneath all along the length, and I found the legs to be quite heavy and sturdy. In order for it break, it seems it would require quite the excessive weight or misuse.This bench was exactly what I was looking for. I am super pleased with this purchase. Looks great, easy to put together and super sturdy.If it fails in some way I will revise this review, but I’m pretty confident it will last for years to come.

I was worried having read some reviews of the bench breaking/being damaged (often in the middle where the might be a knot).I can say a couple things on that.It is made out of very dry light wood. It is solid wood, not particle/MDF, but it is the cheapest/lightest solid wood you can imagine. It's not a heavy duty piece of furniture and probably does need a strong center brace or thicker edge peices than it has. That said, looks ok to me and I sat my 200 lbs in the middle of it just fine. Also a negative there are no "feet" on this, so on a wood floor you probably want to add felt pads.Now the good parts. It took about 4 minutes to completely assemble. Quite possibly the fast/easiest piece of furniture I've ever assembled. It comes with just10 screws and each ALREADY had the washer and split washer placed on them, with a touch of loctite on each one. Kind of impressed by that little detail. It is light and easy to pickup and move.I promise to update this review if it breaks, but I'm also really planning on using it more as a low console table, not a bench to set on.

This bench is outright Gorgeous!! If you are looking for a rustic chunky bench for a coastal or cabin vibe this is it. Waterfall edge gives it a modern flair and this is something you’d see at Room/Board, West Elm, or Restoration Hardware for thousands of dollars but just a few hundred on AMZ! It’s sturdy, came well packaged, solid wood, matte finish, medium brown with dark and light tones. Easy to assemble, took less than 15 minutes to put screws in and screws already came with washers attached. The size and description is accurate.

This bench is perfect in our entryway! Shoe storage is camouflaged (see pictures) and out of sight! It can comfortably sit a minimum of 3 butts at a time!The wood is so nice! It is distressed so there are some holes here and there that adds a rustic appeal to the bench. Matches well with the other wood elements I have adjacent to it.Seems well constructed. Heaviest person in the household is under 200lbs. So far, so good!

I love this. Assembly was super easy with a few allen bolts. Very sturdy and the finish is nice. Lots of intentional defects in the material which i like. Sits perfectly flat and does not wabble or creak etc. i will use this as a spare seating option for a dining room table as the height is good.

Really nice branch and easy to put together! It seems fairly sturdy, however I’ve watched my kids move around on it and I see a bit of curving that causes me concern; luckily it’s just an accent piece so it won’t have many sitters! It’s larger than I realized but great for the price! My only complaint was that amazon shipped using ups and then usps, who were unable to drop it off to our home, we had to pick it up from the post office!

This bench was packed very well with plenty of foam around the edges for protection. Super easy to assemble, very sturdy and perfectly finished our kitchen dining set. We were a bit nervous about how much weight this bench could hold. We had family over for Christmas Eve and a family member who is 275+ lbs sat in the middle of the bench and two adults sat on each side and this bench held up beautifully! We are very happy with this purchase!

I’ve been looking for a large dining bench for a very long time. I had my eye on this bench for a while and I’m so glad I finally bought it. I have a large dining table but couldn’t find an affordable bench that would be long enough until I found this one. It is definitely very rustic, so if you’re not into the farmhouse, rustic old looking type wood than this is definitely not for you. It does have some like little holes on the wood, I’m not sure what they are but It doesn’t bother me, it’s really beautiful! I have mine against the wall and added some cream and faux fur pillows on the back and just gorgeous! I’m thinking of buying another one so I can create a corner nook. Serves different purposes too! Totally recommend. Keep in mind it’s very rustic. Can’t beat the price, others similar to this are above $300.00.
