Bought this kit to repair Christmas lights a mouse chewed through in several places. They worked well, and I was able to salvage the lights (they were quite expensive, so worth making the effort.

I really love this product, especially once I get better at twisting the wires correctly so it slides right into it with a good solid connection. The quality is great as well! I used this today for sump pump connections in the basin and used a heat gun to seal the connections. I will definitely buy more of this and highly recommend it! The thickness of the plastic is great and doesn't allow the wire to poke through while heating it up, which is amazing! Highly recommend this product!My only request to the seller is to make a video that shows the wire-twisting step a bit longer and in more detail. It's an amazing product and great value for your money for sure!

The reason I give it 4 stars is because the box they came in was open and all the connectors were in the bottom of the box and I had to pour them out and put them in their respective places. Otherwise seems to be a good product.

Oh my goodness either Lifesavers there's waterproof and they have solder in the flame does not even melt the plastic absolutely saves me so much time I've been soldering for years and these are 10 times faster

Eh… they do a good job holding and providing a good connection once they’re heated and the entire sleeve cools off. In the meantime, you need to ensure that the connections stay together and the sleeve stays straight while it cools off or it will come apart. There needs to be a a style of these connectors with a crimping style, and once crimped you heat up the connectors so the the solder melts and the sleeve shrinks. That would be a perfect product.

Nothing wrong with item but the this method of connecting wires, especially small wire (24-26 gauge) doesn;t seem that secure. There are youtube comparisons with resistance testing etc and it seems wire nuts and crimps is the best. You may need a crimper for 24-26 gauge and get crimps with heat shrink. I might toss these or donate them.
