Pay attention to size!
I didn't realize there was only one size and this was the smallest, but this was my bad. I also didn't realize it had quarter sized velcro on the bottom, that for me is a deal breaker. But the rest of the quality is great and still a cool product, so I kept it. I usually pay $20 for a pack of 6-10 though so the price point is a bit high.

Velcro wings have absorbency backwards, every pad leaks
I have tried for weeks to contact LastObject as I was one of the original backers for this LastPad project, and they never responded, so I now have the unenviable choice of warning others off instead. If you take a close look at the picture, the velcro wings have the absorbent side sewn so that it faces OUTWARD, that is, when the velcro is closed, the wings face out from the bottom of your panties, towards your pants or other outer garment. This is a problem because it wicks moisture from the inside of the pad and stains your outer garments. They should have sewn the absorbent side so that it faces your panties. I spent almost $100 on the initial pads and none of them are useable because they all leak, and they don't even leak in a way that you can protect yourself using period panties because it wicks moisture OUTSIDE of it. You cannot reach the company at all they will totally ignore you.

Not comfortable I found and did not stay in place
I have used a few of these types of reusable pads in order to save on waste. Whilst they are a great idea, there is always an issue keeping them properly secured to underwear as obviously they do not have a sticky back the same as a paper one. This one is one of the better ones I would say as they have put a silicone strip on the back to minimise movement, but it does still move after a while. The popper and flaps used to secure the pad causes a bulky feeling on the smallest pad which is about as thick and the same size as a panty liner. I imagine that on the bigger pads this would not be an issue though. The price is very very expensive I thought, far more expensive than similar ones you can buy. It would cost about £60 or more to set myself up with a small set of these as the one I ordered came as a single item. Great if you don't mind the initial investment and accept that it might not stay in place quite as well as the paper ones.

Only suitable for dolls with big bank accounts
I've been using washable pads for years and still have all the same ones I started out with because they've lasted ages and are still holding up well. I thought I may as well give this new product a try, since I've only ever used the one type. All the ones I have are medium and large (I have endometriosis and have super heavy periods!), so I thought it might be nice to try a small one - for the very end of my periods, when it's just light spotting. On first impressions, the packaging is lovely - all recyclable cardboard, which is obviously great. The packaging includes the washing and drying instructions. There's a spelling error/typo on the side of the box though - it says "LEAK PROFF" instead of "leak proof". It seems like no one else has noticed this so far, including the brand themselves. The actual product... Is where my problem lies. Yes, I know it's a "small" pad because that's the size I chose. But it is TINY. I mean tiiiiiiny! My hands are a size XS/extra small (I know this because I have to wear gloves for work) and this pad is smaller than my hands. I genuinely laughed at how small it was and commented to my husband that maybe I'd accidentally requested a reusable pad meant for dolls instead of humans. I won't lie, it's well made and seems high quality materials were used and it's a good-looking product, as far as pads go. It has a strip on the bottom of it to help stop it shifting around in your knickers and it folds up super tiny and can be popped in the nice little storage bag, to keep it safe in your handbag. However, the wings are also super tiny and, as another reviewer points out, your knickers have to be really thin for the wings to not make your undies bunch up! The pad is just so tiny and so thin, it doesn't fit properly in any of my underwear except if I'm wearing a thong! Which I certainly won't be wearing when I'm on my period. This brings me onto my last huge no-no for the product - yep, the price. Just shy of £24! You have got to be kidding me! When I realised how expensive this product is, I was absolutely speechless. I must have sat there in a state of shock, with my jaw hitting the floor, for 5 full minutes. £24! For one teeny tiny itsy bitsy pad which is more suited for a Barbie than an actual living person! Absolute madness - I'm sorry, I know the brand is trying to make the world a better, more sustainable place and that's amazing but come on! I'd have to buy around ten of these (in the biggest size) to get me through my heavy periods... It would cost me like £240! It's absolutely ludicrous, I'm afraid. To sum up - the packaging needs proff-reading (sorry, I had to), the product needs a design overhaul and the price needs to take a huge dive! I would probably pay a fiver, tops, for one of these pads and that's being generous, given the issue with it being so thin that it won't actually fit well enough to use it anyway. I unfortunately can't recommend this product, at least not in its current form or price. I'd gladly reconsider my review in future if any changes were made to the product and the price.
