Very yummy! if you are grain free this is a good choice. The protein is better then regular in my opinion because it is less grainy and dry. The texture is almost like a regular pancake. They smell a little nutty, but still amazing! They cook quickly, like normal pancakes and can make an easy breakfast!

These pancakes are good . They have eggs so aren't vegan but the mix is complete; all you have to do is add water! HERE'S THE IMPORTANT PART - UNLIKE EVERY OTHER MIX ON THE PLANET, YOU ADD 1/2 THE AMOUNT OF WATER TO MIX. Every mix typically requires more liquid than mix. I made the mistake of automatically adding twice the amount of water to mix - twice. So don't make my mistake. For 1 cup of mix you add 1/2 cup of water. Enjoy!

These almond flour pancakes are delicious. As a diabetic it can be difficult finding food like pancakes that meet the 45 gram total limit for breakfast. I can have 3 of these 4 inch pancakes for 22 carbs. Then also have diet syrup, 2 scrambled eggs, and 2 slices bacon for a total of around 39 grams of carbs: way under the 45 grams allowed. The favorite day brand of diet syrup from Target is delicious and doesn’t leave an aftertaste. The pancakes cook quickly so don’t use high heat. It’s not like regular pancakes that bubble up so you know when to flip them over. You will need to keep a watchful eye on the pancakes so they don’t burn.

If you're looking for a healthier and gluten-free alternative to traditional pancake and waffle mixes, Simple Mills Almond Flour Pancake & Waffle Mix is a pretty good option! My reason for purchasing this is because this company of the clean ingredients that they use. It also does taste like it's gluten free either which is really nice. Whether you're making pancakes or waffles, the result is always delicious, with a crisp exterior and a moist interior. This mix is incredibly easy to use, requiring just a few simple ingredients—eggs, water, and oil to create the batter. You can also use the mix as a base for muffins or cake. My only complaint is because it is SO expensive. I just wish that eating cleaner could be more affordable.

This mix is phenomenal! The best dairy free protein option I’ve found. For the best protein pancakes I do a serving of this mix, 3/4 cup of Owyn Elite vanilla protein shake, and 1 egg. Put in the fridge for at least 10 minutes before cooking to thicken up the batter!

I had high hopes for this seasonal breakfast mix but was sadly disappointed. Mind you, it is made with almond flour so if you are not use to eating products with almond flour, please be forewarned.The batter was thick and had a nice deep brown color to it. The scent was practically nothing pumpkin spice even after adding the vanilla extract. I used the 4 serving measurements for my Dash Gingerbread Waffle Maker and that was perfect for 4 waffles.There is fiber in this mix which is good, but the flavor is non existent. The thickness of the waffle was a nice change from the pillowy mush from other mixes but if you are looking for pumpkin spice you would be much better off adding your own spices to the batter because I could not really taste or smell any pumpkin spice scent as boxed.I mixed using milk but I am thinking it may have had a lighter texture if I used water instead or if I added more liquid to the batter. All in all, if you're looking for autumnal spiced breakfast mixes, add your own spices to whatever is your favorite mix instead. If you want to add more fiber, add some almond flour, ground flax seed or even ground hemp seeds to your favorite mix.Don't waste extra money for seasonal food mixes that are all hype but have no taste.
