Circulon Symmetry Hard Anodized Nonstick Wok/Stir Fry Pan with Lid, 12", Chocolate

We purchased the Symmetry eleven piece cookware set plus this piece to replace our old mismatched cookware that we have had for years. I can only say that we are not only pleased with the quality of Symmetry but also how well it preforms. The cookware is thick hard anodised aluminum, which is actually harder than steel and conducts heat much better. Thicker means better heat distribution and no "hot spots". The non stick is a three layer coating called Autograph 2, it is one of the newest and best available. It can be cleaned in the dishwasher or simply wiped clean, which is what we do. The coating is tough enough that metal utensils can be used--we still use non scratch as most of ours were used on the older pieces of cookware.Stir fry is a favorite of ours so this pan gets used a lot. Have found that we do not need the high heat as much as in the older pan, and that because of the thick construction the heat is more even from the bottom and up the sides. I need to also mention that sometimes we use a portable induction burner and all of the Symmetry pieces work fine including the Stir Fry pan.The glass lid makes this piece useful for a lot more than stir fry--have a small rack that fits in the bottom of the pan that makes it great for steaming. This piece is a wonderful addition to the set and one that gets used a lot in our kitchen.Just an afterthought: Fried eggs in the eight inch pan, no oil, no spray etc. they slid out onto the plate with no help--the best non-stick ever!

I did a lot of research on a lot of pans, so glad I went with Circulon Symmetry model. The non-stick is phenomenal. The clean up is a breeze (I've even done stirfry, left teriyaki sauce sit, cool down, and then need to clean) - didn't wipe out, but with a small bit of warm water, came right off and pan was good as new.I use this pan on my flat top stove at home, and in my RV gas cooktop. Both methods, works perfectly. I've sent it through the dishwasher a handful of times so far, comes out good as new too.Before getting this pan, I looked at every possible pan on the market...Circulon Symmetry was the perfect mix of cost, ability (stove/oven/temp), dishwasher safe, size, functionality. I was getting confused on what pan I wanted after 2 weeks of searching...then I realized that I have an 8 year old Circulon (cheaper model) that still is one of my favorite pans. So, Circulon is my brand now.I bought another 2 pan set of Circulon Symmetry, and now have 3 matching pans of both color and model. Dang, they look nice and all function beautifully.

Circulon is the absolute best! I have a set that I have had for over 20 years that has never shown any damage or loss of non stick coating. I added this piece because I liked the size and shape. It is not super heavy and good for making a variety of things. It's a good size for meals rather than scrambling eggs etc. I love the clear cover and the handles are coated with silicone so they are cool to the touch.The best thing is that this is dishwasher safe.The color is sort of a chocolate brown but has a bit of a sparkly look to it. Not like glitter but like a frosted nailpolish might lookI love this pan to bits!

It works wonderful he is still working on different food eggs was awesome, frying great . I love the handle it grips good wish it was on the whole handle so if you have small hands it would be good if you don't then is fine too. It just as I saw in picture was pretty big like I wanted for my husbands was exactly what he was looking for. Have. It try the oven yet so don't know how good it will be.

We had a prior version of this, which worked great. Brought the new model and it looks great, including a more substantial lid. But on closer inspection (while using), the lid has an air pocket that is not sealed well (impossible to seal), so that fluid can stay in this pocket, making is unsanitary. We will use the old lid for this otherwise high quality product. Need to go back to the old plain lid design.

We use it almost daily. It’s holding up well. We don’t use metal in these pans, though.

Quality very good. Size is very good for a small family. Would be more difficult if family is larger.we have two members. Product works very well on induction glass top cooking surface. Removed burned on cheese product with great ease. Strong recommendation.

I was very disappointed with this pan. We do a lot of stir fry on high heat and this pan can only be used on Medium to low heat. I tried a stir fry this morning using the medium heat and all it did was take the water out or the veggies and never fried them. It was a waste of my money.
