Good quality extra long 3.5mm twist bits
No problems at all. Obviously you need to be careful with these because they will snap if you use them incorrectly due to their length.

Better than expected
I bought these to pre-drill holes for 70mm screws to assemble an outdoor bench made from C16 44mm X 145mm. I used a depth stop on the drill bits to get the length I wanted, and fully expected to need both bits supplied.I was pleasantly surprised to find that I got all the drilling done with a single bit, still cutting well and straight after hundreds of holes (I used a box of 200 screws and a lot of the second box too).I was emptying my bin today and found a small metal box about 170mm x 30mm x 10mm - perfect for holsing these bits which resolved my only small concern - having completed the job I needed them for, how to keep them intact for the future? They come loose in a cardboard box about 100x40x15mm (bits are diagonal in box) and that just won't survive in my DIY environment!I would recommend the bits, but you want something to store them in.

Glad it comes in pairs
I needed a long drill bit and this did the job. The price is good for what you get, but since they are so long and thin they are flimsy - not unexpected at the price. It’s least you get a spare.
