Men's Modern Leather Wallet Sleeve by Modern Carry

I bought several minimalist wallets from the band ones, ones with slots, ones with dividers, and this one. A simple leather pouch. This won me over because it just couldn't be any simpler or smaller. It's perfect, and completely covers all my cards. I keep 5 cards in this with one folded bill. Absolutely perfect for me.TWO YEARS LATER UPDATE!I came back here to update my review, after more than two years now. I'm still using this same wallet. It's basically a stitched leather pouch. No slots. No pull tabs. No frills. It's the best wallet ever. It's held up great, too. I keep seeing all these other minimalist wallets promoted at certain blogs and I don't bite. They aren't as minimalist as this one. Still perfect. Still no issues. I highly recommend for anyone who's downsizing or just needs to keep a few cards with them.2016 - 2019 THREE YEARS LATER UPDATE!Over the weekend I lost my wallet. I can't live without it, so I came back and ordered a new one. This time a gray option was available so I ordered it and received it two days later. Life is good again.

I looked around for a simple, attractive, fairly priced, credit card sized leather sleeve to carry a Zeiss credit card magnifier - which has become something of a ‘carry everywhere’ necessity as time marches on. This perfectly fills the bill - unadorned, single slot, just the right size, relatively heavy leather, with contrasting stitching, which will protect the magnifier in a shirt pocket without adding much weight or bulk. The leather is slightly sueded, not slick and smooth, so if you’re looking for the latter, look elsewhere. For my purposes, the ‘grippiness’ of the rougher surface is perfect, as it will keep the sleeve from unintentionally slipping out of my pocket. Good value.

It smells really bad for few days, but after that is OK. It is well made, doesn't stretch and still allows to put finger in to slide out the card. I use it for 5 cards and it is perfect fit. It could possibly stretch for 6. The only drawback I can see is dust sticking to it (it is dark). Perhaps lighter color would be better, but I don't mind.

Great product; just got it and very happy with appearance and cost; the item looks well-made and hopefully will ladst a while; the material seems solid as does the tight stitching. I ordered the single slot and the double slot and decided to keep the single because that’s what I needed; I have drivers license, medical insurance card, one chip credit card ( can probably fit a second one), nd two folded $20.00 bills and it wtill looks very thin. Only complaint I have is that it doesn’t come in black but the brown color I ordered/kept is a nice dark matte color.

I don't carry a full wallet, just a few cards and a drivers license, and carry some cash separately. I need something as thin and small as possible and this is pretty nice. I guess the leather could be a bit thinner. The cards are also a hair tight and a mm or two extra width on this would not hurt. Used it 2-3 months and it's holding up.

Fulfills its function of protecting my Metrocard from scratches since I carry it in my change pocket, as well as a loss prevention since it adds some bulk I can feel, so I know it's still there. Stitching is confined to inside perimeter of the leather and not wrapped around the edges Y-camp craft style, the latter more likely to fray, break and unravel by simply pulling in and out of the pocket. It would seem this product will long outwear other brands.

WOW. It smells like shoe polish and mildew with a hint of insecticide. (Quite a strong scent for such a little wallet.) I really hope it subsides. The wallet is well-made and exactly as its shown. Overall, I'm very pleased.Update: the smell never went away, so I had to send it back.

Perfect size for carrying my drivers license, a credit card and a 20 dollar bill. Fits in my front pocket jeans without the discomfort or bulge of a large wallet. Also, unlike plastic containers the enclosed items do not slip out.
