This Bluetooth speaker arrived quickly and without any problems. It is brand new in a retail box. It is packaged very well and padded with foam inserts inside the box to protect it during shipment. The speaker does not have a single mark on it from shipment. The speaker looks really good in real life, the pictures in the listing don't do it justice.The speaker feels very well-made. It feels durable. There is rubber surrounding it to protect it from shock. The buttons click solid and don't feel cheap. The little door to protect the charging and auxiliary audio input is well in place and doesn't pop open unless you are meaning to open it. I charged the speaker initially, the red light showed it was charging for 2 hours and then it was done.I'm able to connect the speaker to my Samsung Note 3. I do have an older phone but I also connected to a relative's iPhone 7+. Both of the phones are allowing for audio and phone capabilities to go across the Bluetooth speaker.The sound quality for playing music and audio scriptures is very clear and crisp. I compared this Bluetooth speaker with my pill by Beats. I got this speaker so I can leave my pill at work. As you see in the picture they are comparable in size. The sound quality is the same between the two speakers. This speaker already has a better battery life than my pill, the pill has never lasted through a day. I'm a huge fan of the price difference with this speaker. For a lot less money you are still getting a great quality speaker..... and it's waterproof! My more expensive bluetooth speaker can't say that.While I haven't submerged the speaker in water, I can definitely tell it does have waterproof capabilities. It is well enclosed and protected. I probably won't be trying this feature out unless I leave the speaker sitting outside and one of our random mountain rain showers pops up.I did take a call on the speaker and was able to communicate with the person without any problems. It wasn't a very long conversation but long enough to hear them and they could hear me. The call answer button worked as it should. All of the buttons operate the functions that they are supposed to. I like how this speaker has designated buttons to skip or reverse tracks, my other speaker does not have this feature and I missed that.Between my wife, the kids, and myself the speaker is going to get a lot of use. If anything changes with it I will definitely be contacting the company, they have a little card that provides a 6 month warranty. If anything were to change I will update this review. I bought this for beach and camping use as it's a nice compact size and it works great, but I use it most often as a jobsite speaker for construction and renovation work. It lives in the job box of my work truck and gets beat up on a daily basis. Hasn't skipped a beat, despite all the abuse I've thrown at it. I've owned five other Bluetooth speakers including a JBL flip 4 and a nice Sony unit which are both great, but not good enough to justify costing over 3x what you pay for this little unit. And the JBLs exposed bass cones would get destroyed in a matter of minutes in the back of my truck bumping around with framing hammers and all sorts of other sharp, heavy, metal objects. I've now had three co-workers like it enough to buy their own and am continually impressed by it's durability and sound quality at a phenomenal price point. I'd never heard of apie before purchasing this speaker and if it somehow died tomorrow, I'd but another one tomorrow without thinking twice about it. Best affordable Bluetooth speaker on Amazon, hands down. Audiophiles may find something to complain about as it does carry a lot of treble and less bass than some of the other high end portable speakers out there, but for the average Joe just trying to jam out to tunes during the day, this thing is perfect.

This speaker is pretty cool!I bought it because I gave my JBL Speaker to my sister since she said she needed one. This speaker is close to the JBL but half the price! I love the sound and the button functions. The JBL speaker I had allowed me to do almost similar features that this one can do but the Apie Speaker does more. In this you are able to pause, turn up or down the volume, change to the next or previous song, answer and reject calls and basic Bluetooth hook up. My Old JBL speaker could only do a few of those things. Sound wise. The speaker is super loud! and powerful! I had it for three weeks now and still amazed at how powerful it is. I only charged it 3 times since I had it. I use it when I drive in my truck going to and from work or if I drive around. So it gets a good amount of use. Wanna say maybe 40 mins a day.There a few things I noticed about it that kinda eh but not that big of a deal.One of the things I noticed is that the volume doesn't seem to sync well with iPhones or at least maybe my iPhone. it seems to delay a little so for example, I could have three volume bars and turn it up two more bars and then the Bluetooth will be communication that with the speaker and it'll delay and turn it down. making me have to turn it up again so the speaker can turn up itself.Overall I like the speaker. Think its good for the price. it the volume thing doesn't bother you I suggest getting it.

I've been using this speaker for over five years, and it's still working great. I use it primarily as my laptop speaker, and it's adequately loud for watching movies and editing videos in my bedroom.Since it's my laptop speaker, it doesn't move, so I always have the USB charger plugged in so it doesn't die. It usually remains connected and working unless there's a long period with no sound playing; at this point, it will turn itself off.The power on/off and Bluetooth connect/disconnect chime is quite long and annoying; I wish it were just a quick beep, but it's okay. Additionally, it doesn't support USB-C, but that's understandable since it's an older speaker.It's a decent speaker for its price, and I haven't felt the need to replace it.

This speaker is THE BEST!! Got it on a flash sale. I have brought this speaker on the boat, on the paddleboard, on the ski hill, to the pool...and had parties with it. It is louder than my friends Bose, and my buddies beats pill. I have beat this thing up for over 1.5 years and it lasts forever STILL! I'd highly recommend this thing. I've also had it in -30 Celsius, and it performs like no tomorrow.

2-3 months and the bluetooth doesn't function well if the phone is more then 4 feet from it.
