Another use for the cable cover .....
Great for its original purpose but also first class at repairing the steam tube on my iron! The original covering had becoming frayed and the pipes were exposed. Fitting a new one turned out not to be a viable option. But this cover solved the problem! The pipes are safely covered and the covering is no hotter than the original. The inelegant insulating tape isn't really necessary as the mesh of the cover catches on the fibres of the original. Who would have thought...?!

Quick fix
Looks a bit flimsy but for only covering a small area it's well worth it. Was impressed with how easy it was just to wrap your wires inside. I don't even notice it n9w as it's just part of the wall
