just as expected good book

My 12 year old son isn't really a reader of fiction books. Instead he loves science, especially physics so I bought this book in an attempt to encourage him to read and it was a success. He not only enjoyed it but read it cover to cover in no time at all. Just wish there were more books like this.

This is absolutely brilliant ! A great book easy to read and fascinating ! Bought this for my 13 year old then bought another for my 9 year old who is space obsessed ! I have had a good read myself and learnt lots ! Really recommend this book for home education and also general interest for kids and adults !

I have been reading a couple of pages each night to my kids (6 & 9) and they have been loving learning about space and science each night. Great introductory book for kids

An outstanding and exhilarating glimpse into the world of astrophysics for young and old alike! The cosmic perspective that the author ends this amazing book on should inspire us all.

got this more simplified version for my granddaughter, puts it in a brilliant comical way

This was a present for my 15 year old grandson. He has found it quite good, but perhaps not as informative as he would have liked, so maybe better for a younger person.

Excellent book, if your child is at all interested get this, if they are not get this book anyway and they soon will be! Audio book also great, we’ve learnt a lot from this book ourselves, complex science explained really well without coming across as patronising or talking down, can’t recommend this book enough.
