Super cute doorstop! He does not fit under the door to hold it open, but works well sitting against it.

Using this for an outside patio door where the gap is a bit wider like 1/2 an inch and it fits perfectly. Very sturdy and cute. Great value for money. However, if your door is smaller, likely won’t fit underneath to hold it steady.

I am very happy that I purchased this door stop. The dog itself is adorable. Before purchasing, I had read a review that said they had filled it with sand to make it heavier, so I pulled back the rubber lining on the bottom, drilled a hole and filled it up with sand then glued the bottom lining back on. It worked perfectly. Now it holds the door open without sliding shut. I have tile, but If it is being used on a rug, the lightness probably wouldn't matter as the rug itself would keep it in place. It is a bit high on the back, so a door with a small gap underneath wouldn't work with this, but ours is about an inch off the ground, so it works very well. I love the look on the dogs face and how his head can turn. This door stop slides on tile floors. Doesn’t work well.

This little mouse is adorable! Looks just like pictured. He’s very lightweight, but the no slip pad on the bottom keeps him in place even on tile. He does not fit very well under the intended door, but that’s my fault, not a fault of manufacturing. I did not look at the clearance, I simply looked at the cuteness.

This is so cute that I put it on my dashboard in my car. Everyone likes it.
