I got this for my son who is in the Navy. It’s a fun decorative blanket. Just realize it is only a decoration and not a full-size, useful blanket. We put ours at the foot of my son’s bed (though he’s not even living here anymore). The best part is the write up from the company afterwards…hysterical!

Bought this for my Navy vet husband for his Man-Cave. It's WAY better in person than the photo shows. He loves it (as does everyone who sees it) and actually wants to hang it on the wall cuz it's so fantastic-looking. It's also great as a blanket or bed throw, of course. Soft, and heavy enough to be warm without being uncomfortably thick. The construction and weaving is truly stellar. Nice tight weave and not a flaw in sight...no loose threads. I retired after 35 years with a company that sold textiles and embroidered garments and I know quality thread-work when I see it. Can't emphasize that enough. It's just simply beautiful. I have no doubt that any product from Pure Country Weavers would be equally nice so will be keeping them in mind for future gifts. DON'T HESITATE to buy for yourself and/or a gift. Truly a beautiful item. Made in USA is a major plus as well (actually, I wouldn't have bought it if it WASN'T made in USA). 100% cotton so it won't pill or stretch out of shape like acrylic and other synthetics would. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

These exceeded my expectations! My son served in the USNavy and this was my way of thanking him for his service. I highly recommend this product! The pride on his face when he saw the throw was overwhelming.

I received this blanket as a gift on Father's Day. It is nice and appears to be well made. I have it as the topping on a day bed I have in my home office. I really like the aircraft carrier that is on the bottom right of the blanket since the last ship I served on was the USS Saratoga CV-60. I am particularly fond of this gift, not because it reminds me of the 21 years I served in the US Navy, but because it is a reflection of how thoughtful my son is.

It is so beautiful. I gave it as a gift and it left the person speechless. It is much more than I imagined by the description.
