Detailed questions, put together
Very well put together. This book has several questions that I think are perfect to ask and they are detailed. I love that there detailed. The only thing I don't like is the chapters cover page looks like it was printed with a printer that was staying to get low on ink.

Dad approves
I bought this for my dad for Father’s Day, and I gave it to him early so that he can start filling it out. He was really impressed with the idea and the type of questions that were included. The questions are thoughtful, and the pages are easily written on.

Buy this while your dad is young enough to enjoy it with you
I loved the idea of this journal, but I will say that not every page will fit your story. It is nice to sit with my dad and ask him questions. It was worth the money, though I may never get to finish it, my dad is eighty years old.

Adorable
Supper cute keepsake and as far as I can tell none of the questions repeat and it seems to flow pretty nicely

The life lived between the - - dashes
Originally got it as a father's day gift in 2023.It is thought provoking, it is also a great mental stimulus and prodding.Asking key questions, that I am anxious to answer for my 4 children, 3 grands. In my entries, I'm being totally candid.Sharing stories, strengths, weaknesses, home runs and strikeouts.Kind of like writing a eulogy while still alive. After adding another entry, I date each entry, so my surviving family will have a Timeline. How old was dad when he wrote this or thought that.Book is available inMomDadGrandpa, etc....I need to be more faithful and have an entry per week.As in my sixties each day, each breath a gift

A very awesome gift especially for senior or elderly.
I bought both this sage green PERFECT paperback; short, easy but thought provoking questioning journal for my father - and the matching blush pink journal for my mother. Both received 24 hours after ordering; good packaging. They are beautiful with a well bound spine. My dad is 82 and my mom is 80. I'm the sole surviving daughter at 59 years old. So I will treasure these books as my mom has dementia. Then will my 34-year-old daughter, whom I'll give it to in time, and she'll give it to their great-granddaughter, my 4-year-old granddaughter later. The questions are a lifetime of a wide array of easy to understand topics (good, esp with cognitive decline or memory loss). I'm thankful for the arrival on time for Christmas. May my parents be with me through the holiday. I'll treasure these. They're excellent paperback material; both in a beautiful mat finished color. My fathers is sage green (not boring brown or gray), and my mother's is the blush/mauve. I bought paperbacks yet thought I would prefer the hardcover BUT due to the mat cover material and large size, it gives an elegant and a more expensive look to the book. 200 questions are sufficient, if not too many for their ages. But thankful for that many questions. Lined paper for answers allows for a clean reply per page and makes it easy for the challenge of cognitive decline. It'll be a very sweet keepsake. At 59 with arthritis, I took a closed pen, acted like I was writing on it, opened the books wide at spine and it didn't collapse on my hands as "too heavy or difficult to see paperback" so it won't be too hard for the elderly. I know both my parents, particularly my father, will really enjoy writing out answers, taking a stroll down memory lane; which in itself is therapeutic for those who have dementia/alzheimer's, or cognitive/memory care issues. I STRONGLY suggest this book for parents of all ages, but esp senior or the elderly for Christmas, or any occasion! It will be a keepsake and a family heirloom for sure. Writing answers is exercise, especially with arthritic fingers and mind, brain, memory deficits; makes it an excellent idea! I'm extremely happy! You won't be dissatisfied. I wouldn't mind buying one for myself to leave to my loved ones. 💕 UDATE: My Dad loved his book and he's looking forward to filling it out and set himself on Christmas Day that he appreciated the leading questions. My mother has moderate to severe dementia and it did scare her, afraid she would not be able to recall but those leading questions again helped. And her caregiver and I can help her to answer, again the lined pages helps especially if she's losing her ability to write as easily and pretty as she once did. Please, be sure to get this for a loved one so they're life and legacy can live on in their own special story. 💞
