Smaller bag than other brands, no mention of organic on packaging
This Xylitol tastes slightly less sweet than the brands I buy - tasted straight from the spoon by 3 people. It’s also finer and the cooling effect is much more noticeable with this brand. The difference in sweetness isn’t an issue for me as it makes it better for blitzing for powder sweetener. I don’t have a sweet tooth so a reduction in sweetness isn’t an issue. The difference in texture means I’d be less likely to use it in certain baking. I don’t mind the cooling sensation, it’s much less than erythritol. However, my son likes the brand we get because it’s barely noticeable so I couldn’t use this in baking he’s going to eat. I made up some cream cheese frosting with this powdered and appreciated the reduction in sweetness so I will keep this bag for milling.I buy lots of Xylitol as I have to bake for Coeliac, keto and diabetic diets and we all prefer the taste of xylitol to the alternatives. Normally I get 1kg bags for around £10 or less and make sure the brands I buy are Birch Xylitol. The packaging on this makes no mention that it’s Birch Xylitol nor does it say it’s organic! If it was certified organic that would account for the higher price but if you had organic status you’d put it on your packaging. British and European brands are usually Birch but there’s no information on the bag regarding GI value either. They need to put their claims on the packaging to justify the price.

Good alternative to sugar
At 800 Grams for £8.99 this is considerably more exoe aive than sugar but with none of the calories. In terms of taste there is no comparison to the real thing as this does have an artificial aftertaste, but it is not bad. It is especially good when used in baking as the other flavours disguise the taste of this a bit.The packet is resealable but I find it messy to spoon out of the packet so I recommend pouring this into a storage jar to keep it fresh.I don't find that a small amount of this upsets my stomach but of course with any artificial sweetener you have to limit your intake.I hope you find this review helpful.

Brilliant stuff
This is an 800g bag of keto-friendly sugar substitute.Since going keto, I've been using Swerve as a sugar substitute, and have grown to love it. I've avoided any other sugar substitute, including Stevia, because of the unpleasant aftertaste.Well, this is the first non-Swerve sugar substitute that I've used that's just as good... and it's less than half the cost.It looks like sugar; feels like sugar, sweetens like sugar, and tastes like sugar. It caramelizes like sugar, too, so when I'm making caramelized onions or roasted, salted pecans, this Xylitol works wonderfully.Equally, it's lovely in tea and coffee, and sprinkled onto Green yogurt. It's just £7.99 for the 800g bag which will last absolutely ages, making it an absolute bargain.Just quickly, though: in terms of using it as part of a keto diet, 100g of Xylitol gives you 100g of carbs... it's pure carbs, so you'll want to go easier on it that you would with Swerve. Just something to keep in mind if you're wanting to stay in ketosis and you have a sweet tooth.

Look like sugar tastes like sugar! But better for you!!
I’ve been in the slimming world plan now for 7 weeks! I don’t use an awful lot of sugar, maybe a bit in my porridge and some in the occasional coffee, how ever we tend to use it more in our cooking, do sauces and glazes. This sugar substitute does not disappoint, if you blindfolded me and asked me to try some I would of told you it’s sugar. It’s had the same texture as sugar, which for me is the most important, as I’m not of fan of the powdered sweetnersYou can use it like real sugar! It comes in a huge 800g bag. I have however tipped it into a old glass sweetner jar just because I find them easier to handle and use, but there’s still lots left in the bag. This would last us at least 6 months. So it’s actually brilliant value

Broken package
The package got delivered with a hole in it and lost a ton of sugar while being transported. They should pack this kind of product better or use a more resistant package. The sugar itself looks good, but as it was not sealed, I didn't taste it.

Great low calorie sugar alternative
I’m a big user of sugar substitutes as my Partner cannot consume sugar for health reasons so I do a lot of baking using various types of sweetener. Xylitol is natural and also good for your teeth so I’m a big fan. This is a decent sized bag and you use it at the same ration as to how you would use sugar spoon for spoon. You can use it in tea, baking, sprinkled and more, you can even blend this to make xylitol powder to make icing so it is very versatile.Recommended, tasty and a great lower calorie option.
