If you want a firm mattress, looking for natural latex Kymdan, a vietnamese mattress maker, the only thing they made for over 70 years is natural latex mattress. This mattress warranty is 15 years, but i have one last 30 years up to this moment i write this comment. No sinking after 30 years. This mattress are used in high class hospital in Europe for coma, paralyzed patients who need airy mattress to prevent intertrigo. I bought one n air-shipped from Vietnam. Recently they open distribution center in California, check out their website. May cost quite a bit for it but spread the cost over 30-50 years, still pretty cheap and you won,'t regret.

Q: is the 10 inch firmer than the 12 inch?

Generally, the thicker the mattress, the more plush/soft the mattress will be. The 8" is designed for back sleepers. The 10-12" is designed for back/side sleepers. The 13-14" is designed for all around sleeping, including on the stomach. The 10" will be more firm.

Q: Anyone had this for more than a year? How does it hold up?

I would not recommend this product. They had to send me a replacement as my first one started to show signs of wear in the center causing me serious back and neck problems. Mind you this was after less than a 2-3 months use. Their customer service informed me that based on my photos it was “defective” and sent me a replacement (which took nearly a month). I’m now on my replacement and now with less than a year of use I’m having the exact same problem. It’s just me. I’m 5’9 165 pounds. Very frustrated and disappointed.
