Q: Is this compatible with alta hr?

NO. Unfortunately, it's NOT COMPATIBLE. If you look at the end of the first bullet point in the Features and Details section for this item, it clearly states that it is NOT COMPATIBLE. Before reading the item specs here, I'd hoped it would work for the Alta HR because I found repair instructions for the Alta online but after taking my Alta HR apart, I discovered the internal parts are slightly different. The Alta has 1 screw in the center and the Alta HR has 2 tiny screws on one end. I stopped and reassembled. If the battery was cheaper, I'd almost be inclined to try it anyway since it's going to the trash bin anyway but I suppose I will continue my quest to find the correct battery.

Google search results: Fitbit Alta Battery Dimensions LxWxH 0.83 x 0.4 x 0.13 inches This looks about right. It's been a while since I replaced the battery in my wife's Fitbit which, by the way, is working great.

Q: Can you tell me if it's compatible with the 2019 Fitbit Ace model? Link if possible?

I can't answer for sure, but I did find a charging cable for the fitbit Alta which is also compatible with the FitBit ACE. The clip requires a very specific body shape. Pictures of the FitBit ACE look exactly like my wife's FitBit Alta. If I were in your situation I think the FB406 battery would be worth a try. There are great YouTube videos for FitBit Alta battery replacement. You need to be comfortable with soldering very small wires.

I had that issue and I went to a watch shop and was told to go thru fit bit themselves
