Excellent product.
This is exactly what we needed in our bathroom to stop ceiling from peeling. Also, it was great because I could buy it in a quart size. I did not need to buy it in a gallon size which is all I could find in my local store.Did 2 coats.

No more peels!
Stops peeling paint just like it says. Refurbished an outdoor sign that was severely weathered and insect damaged. Sinks into the cracks and pores and stays. New paint adheres very well. After several months of winter snow and ice build up it's still working perfectly.

Even though it was advertise for outdoors, I didn’t find out that it was not for decks.
Dislike: That it was not for decks which I didn’t see in the products description. I learned it from the fine print on the can. Otherwise it seemed like just the coating I was looking for.

Great bonding primer
My house is 124 years old and my front door has layers of chipped paint that even sanding & stripping would not remove. Since it needed a lot of repair work with wood putty & sanding to even it out to a smooth finish, I was afraid of the putty chipping off. I applied a layer of this primer, before and after using the wood putty and then added 2 coats of paint and the door looks brand new. It’s not a solid white color, but more of a milky white so it will not replace a coat of paint but will help to bind the paint for a smoother finish. It does fill in small imperfections but the primer alone will not fill deep uneven places. This primer dries really fast & works much better than just a paint that has primer included, especially for filling in small imperfections. My door would’ve looked great with just one coat of paint after using this primer, but I did 2 coats because my door gets a lot of sun.

Didn’t work.
Not at all as advertised, like other people said it appeared thick in the can but spreads on very thin and I tried to do a thicker coat. Painted two coats so far and can still see the places where the paint chipped off.

This stuff works!!
I used this a year ago to paint old peeling painted 2x4s in my screen room. The wood is 20 years old and the latex paint had peeled and flaked everywhere. After scraping, sanding and hosing down the wood, I let it dry and used PEEL STOP. It looked great then and a year later, still looks freshly painted!

It's ok
I used the product two different ways, with a sprayer and a brush. I would day brush is the best way to go. However there is a difference in color saturation difference between the videos and actual product. It needs a few coats and is more clear than white. So unless you rock a lot of coats, it will need actual paint over it.

Great primer
I had an exterior window that was peeling significantly. I scraped off all the loose paint, I then put two coats of Zinsser peel stop on, it looked great in primer. The edges where the paint peel stopped were almost invisible, the thick coating hid it well. The primer dried fast and after I put 2 coats of paint, it looked perfect. I'll be watching it over the next years to see how durable it is, but so far it looks great.
