This is a book for many years. If your child likes this topic, I think they may appreciate this book. It is engaging, beautifully made, and interesting to look at. In my opinion, it is a good balance between written info and stunning design from.5-6 years old.

Illustrations are beautifully drawn. Originally thought this was a 3D type book. Turns out it isn't. Images drawn in 3 different colours all coexist on the same page and you look through the colour film to make each set of images stand out. Red images are very clear, green is average. Blue is hardly visible as it is very dark. Nice as a novelty but not quite what I was hoping for.
