Shorted on padding
The description states that the bottom and top of each riser is padded. That is a false statement. For some reason the set of 8 risers come with only 4 foam pads for the top and 4 for the bottom. Why not a complete set of 8 of each?

They are fine -
I don't have time for this crap.

Be aware of what kind of bed frame you want to raise and how high
I bought these to raise a bed up to a level that I could store 13"H bins underneath. I have a queen size bed with metal frame with wheels. The risers are well made and very sturdy, BUT, since they do not grade out at the bottom in any way, the higher you stack them the more unstable they become under a bed raised. I stacked them 4 high on each leg under the wheels on my bed. Although the pictures and description says you can set the wide wheels in the groove at the top of the block, it in no way sits stable. The bed toppled over while I was putting the sheets back on. I would NOT use these for raising a bed more than 2 blocks high, and even then, wheeled frames need some other type of way to secure the wheel correctly, or just account for the fact that you may have to take the wheels off. I plan to keep these since they are so sturdy, but I will use them for some other piece of furniture that does not have people moving around on it.

Buyers Beware
These are great for what their intended for, raising the furniture, However, buyer beware. Although the ones I purchased have eight (8) to the package, there is only enough, non-slip pads for four (4) risers? To me, this does not make any sense. If Iyar known this before hand, I would have purchased another brand. I have purchased these before and, at that time, they had enough pads for all eight (8) risers. What happen? Also, looking for extra pads to for the ones that need them, and nothing. I can’t not find replacement pads anywhere?

Do What I Need Them to Do at a Good Price
Nice that they came in an 8 pack. I used 4 to raise my low-sitting sofa, and 4 under the head-end of my bed to create an inclined sleeping surface as a GERD prevention measure. (Can't say enough good things of inclined sleeping to treat GERD! Used to need a 4" slant, and over time have been able to reduce that to 2".) Would have preferred wood as I'm trying to minimize buying plastics, but these fit the fat sofa legs, I feel safer with the bed frame legs sitting in the recesses at the top of the risers, and the price was much lower than wood. I did buy the 1" Fasonla risers made from wood to support the middle legs of the bed frame, though. I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 just because it's too soon to know whether they are thick and study enough to hold up over time, not because I've noticed any problems in those areas. It's great being able to vacuum under the sofa without having to move it around!

These were great, but only 4 foam inserts were provided.
These work great, but I planned to use all 8 on their own (two for the headboard and two for the little support pegs in the middle of the bed). Only four foam pads were provided. It wasn't a big deal- everything still functions fine- but it was just odd. Overall, I'm happy and I would order them again.

ONLY 4 PADS for 8 RISERS!!
Yes, I didn't read carefully. Yes the listing says 4 pads and 8 risers. No, that doesn't make sense. I bought two of these packs and can't use half the risers. Why would I not want to protect half of my hardwood floor? Besides that, everything is great.

I'm Surprised I Haven't Used These Sooner
--| Overview |--I purchased this for two reasons.1) I came across an older model roomba, it would wedge itself in the curve of the sofa and get compressed in the carpet, and not have enough torque to get out.2) I'm quite tall and figured a taller sofa might be nicer in general. Previous configuration put my knees above the waistline and this made getting up more effort then it should be if it were just at the right height to begin with. This solution seemed the easiest, but perhaps not the best. I figured the best would be actual replacement legs, but these are harder to come by. I decided to roll the dice and try these and so far they seem to work out well and address both these problems.--| Pros |--- 4 sets of 2 Pieces makes it quite tall.- Makes getting up and down from the sofa easier as a tall person.- the Roomba no longer gets stuck under the sofa.--| Cons |--- 8 pieces, with 4 set of foam and rubber means this will be a set of 4; either stacked, or one piece with 4 pieces that would be useless without a lot of effort.- still a small amount of wobble in the double stack configuration on carpet. - I have found that using the foam, but not the rubber bottom works best. - This allows the support lines to bite into the carpet more and give less play--| Conclusion |--I feel these add more height and addresses the Roomba getting stuck and makes it easier to get up and down from the sofa. They are a viable solution.I feel replacement legs might have been a better solution, but the sofa already had 5 inch legs on it. I would have needed to find 8-10 inch legs which are hard to find, but would probably look better and have zero play in them if made right. This option was cheaper and easier and seems to do the trick, so I plan to keep using these.
