to reach tight spaces or for deep screw positions
these bits are a saver if the place to drill a hole is on a tight space, where the drill head or body get in the way and either prevent reaching the surface to drill or would reach it at an angle and not perpendicular. the quality of the bits is average but they should last a while if used for wood. Due to their length they tend not to be straight and flex easily, wandering on the surface. Therefore a pilot punch hole is a must.

You'll get what you pay for, you'll have to be really careful while using it, as it is easy to snap.

crucking even in a soft wood
Sorry to say it but yestarday I've lost two doing absolutely simple and soft wood drilling. Only low price explains that.
