BBQ Smoked Brisket Knife for Meat Carving and Slicing - SS, Granton Edge, 11 Inch Blade

After receiving this carving knife, I couldn't wait, so I BBQ'd a London Broil. It slices very easily right out of the box. Just as the offer described.I had a similar carving knife several years ago, but it somehow disappeared. This knife far surpasses that old knife. I'm happy with my selection. A quality knife at a reasonable cost.

It works great to cut cheese also.

I don't need to tell you that nothing is more disappointing than smoking a brisket for 12 hours and then trying to slice it with a knife that's just not up to the task. This cow slicing monster will end your frustration for sure. It's one of the least expensive on Amazon so I didn't hold high hopes of it working as well as it does. Some purchases you're just pleasantly surprised. This is one of those purchases. I would not hesitate to recommend this brisket knife to anyone looking for one. I have had it long enough to know it's my "go-to" brisket slicer and I smoke lots of briskets. Holds up well to the dishwasher and some degree of other abuse I have put it though. I use it with gloved hands and it has never slipped on me, that's a plus. The handle is at the perfect angle for use so it doesn't feel awkward or uncomfortable when using. The price is what drew me in, but the performance is what made me stay. I believe the world would be a better place if more people smoked brisket and drank beer while doing it. Has a good handle and seems very sharp. Would be nice if the sleeve it came with was more than extremely thin cardboard.

This is slightly shorter than some slicers which makes it easy to handle for some cuts of meat. It wasn’t quite as sharp as I had hoped, but I was able to steel and strop the edge to be very sharp

Well I was looking for a knife to help cut brisket. Originally didn't have a brisket knife because I was always afraid to cook a brisket but then after I begin to cook them, I realize I needed a better knife one that was smooth as butter I love the precision of this knife and I handle is great. It's not a bank breaker as far as price.. this life is well worth the money so far

I purchased the first one to slice brisket, or other large cuts. Bought a second one for my son. The first came in a nice box; the second one was loose. Nice implement to have on hand.

I love this knife. I was able to slice different cuts of meat with ease into small slender strips. It is so sharp, I cut my finger while cleaning it so please be careful. I would have paid a little more for a plastic sleeve to protect it. The cardboard sleeve will have a limited life.
