Over the past year during this pandemic I have only driven my car for a total of about 600 miles, the rest of the time it has sat in front of my house. Not being driven caused the battery to run down repeatedly and recently I was unable to jump start it with my home jump starting kit. I HAD to get something better to keep my battery fully charged, especially as I have an appointment for my first COVID-19 jab in a couple of days time and I could not risk the car not starting. I went online and researched the 'best' battery chargers and was surprised to see this one rated as one of the best and at such a reasonable price. I read the reviews from verified purchasers and felt reassured that I was buying a quality, easy to use and reliable product.I was NOT disappointed. I left the charger connected for 19 hours and my battery is now fully charged for the first time in about 6 months! Best investment I have made. It is reassuring to know that I can fully recharge my battery any time it runs down again without having had to pay an arm and a leg for a charger. Highly recommended!

We have two cars in our household and over lock down our milage and usage went down by a fair bit. As a result i was concerned that the battery health on the cars may suffer.I purchased this charger after reading the mixed reviews and doing a lot of research online. There are a lot of horror stories re these type of chargers from china and i was a little apprehensive, but decided to take the plunge.The charger itself is a smart microprocessor charger for the newer type AGM and EFB batteries. It will also charge older type lead acid batteries. One of my vehicles has an AGM battery and the other an EFB. I firstly connected this to my vehicle with the AGM battery and the charge was showing 40%. For over 4hrs the charger continued to show the battery at 40% so i was starting to think it wasn't working, however checking the display i could see that the ampage was alternating in the expected fashion for an AGM battery. After 5 hrs the charge had jumped to 80% and then the charger switched off at just under 6hrs showing 100%. I checked the battery with my multi-meter and all appeared good.Next i connected the charger up to my partners EFB battery, again this showed 40%, 4hrs in it is still showing the same, i will continue to leave this charging.The device itself appears well made on the outside. The first thing i checked was that the plug was fused and it was. I have watch a few tear down videos re this specific charger and comments of concern have been raised. One of those is the electronic noise the charger emits, which means it may breach FC regs. However i can not confirm this as i don't have the equipment to test if the noise is filtered or not on this charger.I regularly checked on the charger whilst it charged on my drive at least twice an hour. I also monitored it on CCTV and so far i have to say it appears to be working very well with no safety concerns.The charger has an LCD display which shows you the current voltage, charging amps and temperature. It has a mode selection tool also. Ensure you match this to your battery as charging an AGM or Flooded cell battery requires a lower ampage/voltage - so ensure you don't select 'vehicle' on the mode button. Selecting this could severely damage your battery. Check your owners handbook or the battery itself.Would i recommend this charger? Based on my experience so far i would say yes. It appears safe enough, the build quality on the outside appears good and the smart charging functions seem to work.I hope that you found my review helpful.

Easy to use and the screen indicator is very useful, though small. It does what it says and charges the battery efficiently and fairly quickly. I give four stars because the cables to the battery and for the electric plug are quite short. In fact if you place the charger on the wing of the car, the cable with electric plug does not even touch the ground, so you need an extension lead and that will hang in mid air. Having said that, it did exactly what I needed. It is small and neat and is clearly one of those designs that a few companies are selling with different names, so hunt around for the best price, as I am sure it can be got at a lesser price than I paid.

After getting the worst customer service with Machine Mart over a charger that failed after very little use that cost four times the price of this unit, i was very dubious it would be any good, but how wrong i was!Very easy to understand and use, i have both motorbikes and a car, and my wifes car has the stop start engine system which uses the AGM battery which needs a particular type of charge facility.You have a single charge Amp rating for a car battery which is good and the level your battery is holding is shown on a graph whilst on charge, you can also use a trickle charge on a car battery by using the motorbike charge rate, which is about a quarter of the car rate, so its got enough flexibility to be able to keep multiple vehicle owners happy.I intend to have at least one more of these around as they are great value, only downside is they do have a boost facility like my old broken charger which can help you out of a sticky spot if you are almost flat and need a jump start, but other than that, what a product.

Compact size and smart design, downsides are both the mains power cable and wires with clips to battery terminals..way too short so has to be used with a extension reel carefully fed in a door shut of our BMW E61 5 series estate car to the luggage area where the battery is. Has been left connected continuously since purchased and has kept battery alive while its off the road awaiting mot repairs or its final destination!!..at least we can move it about without a flat battery needing a charge.!! Arrived promptly..and does what I need it for..good product that is easy to use.

This has saved me many a time. RAC been out and said you need a new battery but it’s not down to that, it’s just the car has a problem charging. This charger has been used multiple times and does exactly what it says. Charged the battery intelligently and if needed will do a full restore. Just works perfectly. People moaning about quality, look back at the old car battery chargers from 20 years ago and identical. You don’t need really thick metal contacts to transfer the power. Great product very robust. Been kept loose in the back of a Landy now and even the packaging still holds up.
