These little clips will change your life! I simply love them! I use them in place of pins, to hold paper patterns to the fabric for cutting, holding garments in place while embroidering and so much more!

QUILTING - These are wonderful to use for binding a quilt either by hand or machine because they hold and you don't get your fingers pricked. However, I turn them upside down and use the bottom to hold the binding flat, otherwise, you get indentations where the clip holds the binding. I placed them about every two inches. Pins are still better on holding mitered corners. I clipped my binding and dragged and slung the quilt around to see if they would hold well and they do. If you currently use metal snap clips (the ones that are like large hair clips) buy these instead. You'll thank yourself.CRAFTING - I have used these for paper crafting and holding parts that I have glued together. Again, I prefer to turn them upside down so that I don't get indentations. I would say if this clip has a no-slip grid and two flat sides instead of a curved and a flat it would be better for paper crafting.SEWING - Depending upon your project this is not a replacement for using straight pins, sorry. When straight pins you can strategically place them so you can sew over them or not even have them come under your foot. Unless you are sewing a very, very generous seam allowance, like one inch or more, these are not especially useful. You have to remove them and if you them with your pressure foot, they grip so well your fabric moves and you stitching line gets messed up. No, no, no. I did use them for sewing on quilting binding, stopping to remove them every two inches, was a bit of a pain, but it beat getting pricked.

I've always used and loved the wonder clips, but they're expensive. These are exactly the same and even have the seam allowance markings that the Clover clips do.The only difference is they take a little more strength to open. They're a little stiffer, but if anything they hold a tighter grip on the fabric, etc. Beware if you are using them on vinyl or delicate fabric, they may leave an indention.Overall I'm pleased at the quality and the price.I sew a lot and use these things a lot. I have an etsy shop but I'm not sure if I'd be allowed to link it. My point is, this isn't my first time using these bad boys.

Where were these when the kids were small and I was had sewing Halloween Costumes for my boys!!! I love these. You can use these for sewing, quilting, scrap booking and making small magnets out of them for pics on the fridge. I love these little guys and I don't need to use pins on edging anymore and poking my self. They are just the right size and with my carpel tunnel, there are a lot of days I cannot pick up small things like straight pins. Thanks for coming out with these!!! I will be buying more as I go on with sewing, scrapping and etc...................

Never again will I use pins.... unless I absolutely have too. These make my surging projects a million times easier and faster!!! Seriously I don't know why I waited so long to try these (maybe because joanns sells like 20 clips for $30 and thats not going to happen). The quality of these are great, I haven't had any break and thats even with my 2.5yr old stealing them and making "necklaces" with them on her clothes. A bag of 100 goes a long way for a shirt i'm surging or some leggings. I'm so happy I got these!!!

These are smaller than the red ones my daughter first bought and shared with my wife, but she's found they hold multiple layers of fabric very well. They are so much easier to use than pins when putting a binding on a quilt - which is why they were purchased. They are just as good as the big ones and don't take up near as much room. Their price also helps with my budget. My wife highly recommends them and will be purchase some as gifts for quilters in the family.

Freaking awesome. I used to joke with people that every thing I made had a small piece of me in it. Meaning that at some point, I had stuck my finger with a needle deep enough to bleed on whatever I was making at the time. These clips are fantastic. I had been using binder clips, but the Embroidex are flat on one side and much easier to use. I am not a quilter, I just sew bags and these are great for edges but will not replace pins if, for instance, you are sewing a pocket in the middle of a panel. Additionally, while none of them have broken yet, some of them make ominous crunching noises that worry me. Final verdict: must have if you sew.

These little clips have great grip for their size! Assorted colors in the pack as pictured and got them within 2 days of placing order - super fast!
