Good quality hooks
As flyfishing guide I require hardware, including hooks that work as expected. These are really sharp right out of the package and don’t require any additional sharpening. Since they are 2x strong they hold up well to bending points too. Excellent product.

Purchased for microfishing, works on fish 3-6in…so far
Recently got into microfishing and didn’t want to pay $2/hook for those fancy Japanese hooks. These aren’t the smallest I could find, but they definitely were the cheapest. I thought I would try to be extra special and bend these suckers to a better shape, but alas, I gave up after breaking 7 hooks in less than 15 minutes. They aren’t the best at actually hooking fish unfortunately and I’ve definitely lost more fish than landed. That being said, I’ve been successful so far in landing several “bigger” small fish, the smallest being ~3in. For my current goals, and I imagine any novice microfisherman, these guys work just fine, but I can definitely see how I will need different hooks in the future as I try to land smaller and smaller fish.
