Item was larger than I expected and tastes fantastic. Tropical/Fruit Punch is a tough flavor to find in gummies and this item has a bold punch flavor. Ships in a resealable bag which is very convenient to keep it fresh for a long time. Will buy again without hesitation.

I wanted something impactful and edible to put in my mini cauldron to go along with my witch costume this Halloween. I was contemplating the usual chocolate eyeballs until I spotted the gummy brain. We've been having quite a hot spell in NJ (who hasn't) but the weather cooled down a bit and upon reading the reviews that the product came with those synthetic ice packs, I was reassured and made the purchase. I was home when the package delivered, so at least on my end it did not sit out in the heat.When I opened the box there was one small, completely melted synthetic ice pack and a gummy brain that was juuuuust starting to ooze ("I'm melting") inside the plastic blister pack/bag. I don't think the brain had much more time to give to the shipping process before it completely gave up the ghost, so to speak.I rated the brain 4 stars, rather than 5, because of the melting issue. If the brain had spent another day in transit this probably would have become a 1 star review. I think the whole melting issue could be fixed with more "ice" packs and/or better insulation of the shipping box.I put the brain in the refrigerator (NOT the freezer) immediately. I can't fix the melted portion, but since melting was just starting, it's not too much of an issue. The brain is firming up nicely. It will stay in the refrigerator until a few days before Halloween.I took off one star for the melting issue and no stars for anything else.Some additional information on the brain and the packaging:It's a really, really nice gummy brain. Because it is red rather than pink it is a little difficult to see the brain's bumps and curves, but it is nevertheless completely recognizable as a brain. It is a good size--at least 7 inches long x 6 inches wide (measured on the flat size) and approx. 3-4 inches tall at the highest point.It came in a sealed, heavy duty blister pack. It was packed in a good strength cardboard box. Inside the box was one small fake "ice" bag and a flat piece of what I guess was supposed to be insulation. It needed more of both.I can't say anything about the taste because I won't taste it until Halloween, but frankly, for my use taste is not super important.As for value for the money, I took a deep breath before ordering because it wasn't cheap. But it wasn't horribly expensive either. It's an impulse purchase and if I wanted it, I should be prepared to pay what the seller is asking and not ding the product rating. I so wanted it.This would have been a very different review if the product had arrived all gooey and melted. I'm glad that was not the case. 4 stars! This witch will be serving a cauldron of brain stew for Halloween.

Tastes really good and a great conversation piece as you gnaw away on it. If you like gummies you wont be disappointed..

By the time I received the product it was already starting to melt from the heat even though there was ice packs but that would have only possibly managed to maintain shape if you paid the quick shipping of $15.
