Clinique High Impact Mascara | Lengthening, Volumizing + Safe For Sensitive Eyes

New favorite mascara! My sister recommended and I will definitely buy again! Photo is product on my right eye and nothing on the left.

Recommended to me by someone with sensitive eyes who saw me reacting to another mascara. This has been a game changer. No more tearing eyes from fumes and irritants. Black honey is a great color, too!

I have used many mascara products over the years. I love this mascara. I do not use any other brand.

I had put off buying this for months, but when my usual mascara (Lancôme definicils) was nearly empty and it was time to reorder, I decided it was time to try this one.I chose it because I'm a natural strawberry blonde, and the black honey has a reddish brown hue to it. I was hoping it would look more natural. However, like even my usual mascara, it's too dark to notice much of a difference (I always buy brown). I'm also not crazy about the brush. Lancôme's definicils has a thinner, stiffer brush that helps me get all the way to the lash line (my lashes are long, but nearly clear/invisible in color) and the brush doesn't yield when I wiggle it through my lashes to get the entire upper and lower lashes completely coated like this one does. It's just too flimsy/floppy.That said, the color isn't BAD, per se, it's just not light enough to show the richness of the reddish brown that I was looking for. The formula is also creamy and comes off with just a little water and a gentle tug (I'm pretty sure this is a tubing mascara from the way it came off). It doesn't rub off easily or settle under my eyes like cheaper mascara, but it really doesn't hold up when compared to the ones at the same price point.It's not a terrible mascara; it just isn't worth the money, because there are better mascaras for the same price (or less, even). I just wish it has been a little lighter in color, because when it's worn, the "black honey" just looks...well...black. Clinique already makes this mascara in black; that's not what I was looking for. Why bother making a different color at all if it's not going to actually look different? Listen to your customers; if they want brown, give them brown - not just another black mascara.

My new favorite mascara. Love the brush and how it goes on so nice. Not clumpy at all. Very happy with it!

On a trip to a store a clerk told me that this mascara along with the eyelash primer did even better than the one I was using. I am older so while my eye lashes a long they are not as full as when I was younger. I tried the two together and I was amazed at the difference. it made my eyelashes look full without clumping. She was right and i will keep using it.

I really love this mascara. Stays put, easy to apply, gives a nice full lash, does not flake, easy to remove ..my new favorite!!

Mascara Review: Disappointing Results Despite the Hype⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5 Stars)I had high hopes for this mascara after seeing so many positive reviews, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work for me.Formula & Application:The formula felt a bit too wet right out of the tube, which made application messy and prone to clumping. I found it hard to build volume without my lashes sticking together. Even with just one coat, it was easy to go from defined to spidery very quickly.Brush Design:The brush was a let down. I ended up with smudges on my eyelid almost every time I applied it.Wear & Performance:This mascara didn’t hold a curl well, and after a few hours, I noticed some flaking under my eyes. It wasn’t terrible, but I expect better longevity—especially for the price. Smudging wasn’t a major issue, but the overall wear just felt underwhelming.Removal:On the bright side, it came off easily with micellar water and didn’t irritate my eyes. That’s one of the few things I appreciated.Final Thoughts:This mascara might work for someone looking for a more natural look or who has naturally thick lashes, but it just didn’t deliver the volume or definition I was looking for. I won’t be repurchasing, but it wasn’t a total fail—just not the right fit for me.
