Leather Card Holder by Modern Carry - Magnum (Brown Card Sleeve)

This is perfect for my needs. I returned one of those metal and rubber band style minimalist wallets because my cards (about 12) kept coming loose in my pocket and creating a sort of fan shape. I wasn't about to risk losing a card due to this. The Modern Carry leather card holder is much more secure, and adds the pocket that I use for cash. The small slit on side makes card access very easy. The photos showed a rounded cut corner that I wasn't thrilled about, but to my happy surprise, the leather actually covers the entire surface of the cards. Mine has a few scuffs on it after a week of use, but I think that it's going to end up wearing well and looking good once completely broken in. The leather is soft and forms to the cards very well, and the stitching appears to be sturdy. I'm hoping this will be my EDC wallet for a long time to come. I would like to see RFID blocking offered in a future version of this item.

This thing is AWESOME!!!!!!! I have a TON of wallets stretching back 30 years, and just in the last few years, I've bought a lot of minimalist EDC wallets seeking the "perfect" one for ME, and well, i think I've found it with these Modern Carry wallets!!! I now own like 4 different Modern Carry wallets, and my absolute favorite is the Midnight Grey Card Holder with the pocket. I can EASILY fit 6-8 cards into the center section, and a rather large amount of cash, folded twice into 1/4 (quarters). For the price, you just CANNOT GO WRONG IMO 😎👍And because these are made from REAL, top grain leather, they look great, should last a long time, and they can stretch out quite a bit to hold a bunch of cards AND cash. A great value for sure! $13 is a steal IMO 😎👍As far as actual use so far, It seems to be perfect for me and my needs! I always keep my cash up front in the first compartment, and my cards in the main compartment, and this holds everything nice and snug and has a great look, smell and feel to it. I have 4 bills in the front and 6 cards in the main compartment, and I could probably fit 2-3 more cards if I wanted to max it out!!!So if you're looking for a small, good quality minimalist leather wallet, that holds between 1-8 cards and some cash, and is made of nice top grain leather, then I say give these a try. It's true what they say "less is more" 😉EDIT: I just bought two Craft and Lore Twobit Wallets (Limited edition Wickett and Craig Olive Green Latigo Leather Twobit, and a Grey Pull-up Twobit Wallet), along with a Black Port Wallet. Anyway, my point is, my C&L Twobit Wallets & Port Wallet are DEFINITELY my favorite leather minimalist wallets, and they're made 100% in the USA (from really HQ full grain leather) just like my Dango wallets, but for a sub $15 wallet, the Modern Carry and Hide and Drink are the way to go for value, quality, performance and ease of use. So if you don't want to spend $45-$60 (without shipping) on the amazing Craft and Lore Twobit & Port Wallets, then I can't recommend the Modern Carry and Hide and Drink options enough 🙂😜😃

Upon initial inspection, product seems extremely well made and functional. This is true leather, and it actually does appear the same in reality as the picture depicts (possibly better). However, potential buyers should note that this is an extreme minimalist wallet: The 6 or 7 cards they have stuffed in it in the picture may fit after it has had a month or so to be broken in, but fresh out of the package, it is not going to easily fit that many. I have inserted a driver's license, 2 cards, insurance card, a couple of folded bills, and it is comfortably snug. Extremely thin profile; fits in the front pocket easily.If you're tired of reading reviews on the millions of slim wallets to choose from here, you find many of the materials they are constructed of to be questionable (or even unidentifiable), you find the extra features and logos superfluous and distasteful, and you just want something of solid construction that can function practically as a minimalist wallet for regular use or travel purposes, this could be perfect for you.However, if you are a traditional bi-fold/tri-fold wallet user expecting to migrate the majority of that matter to this product, you may wish to consider another item for your needs.

I carry two Metro Cards and I needed a very slim, low-profile case to carry them in my pocket. This case has two slots, perfectly holds one in each - and there is still plenty room for other cards if I should want to carry business cards or a credit card. The leather is great quality - it is sturdy and and the surface is smooth and buttery. The stitching looks very durable. I feel confident that these will keep my Metro Cards well protected. These cards are sensitive-the slight bend or crease in the magnetic strip and the card is ruined - and a 'prepaid' card has to last a year -- getting a replacement card takes about a week and there is no refund for any unused portion...

I've been searching everywhere for a no-frills, slim, comfortable holder for my cards that wouldn't cause creases or wear in my back pocket, and would be comfortable and convenient in my front pocket (while still protecting cards from my keys, phone, etc.) And this is it! While I went through several metal card cases (the sharp edges started to wear holes in my pants), and "slim wallets" (not very slim, and lots of needless extra material), this "sleeve" is perfect. It's soft, stitched leather with smooth edges that won't snag on anything. It covers and protects my cards from scratches or smudges, while still being easy to pull individual cards out. It's so comfortable in ANY pocket, I forget that it's there until I need it.
