Rebuilt pump 2 months ago. Checked pump today and pump not pumping. Diaphragm cups are warped and causing unit not to pump. Major defect in plastic. Past the return window

Maybe I was the one who received the one-in-million faulty product, but it failed within 11 hours. I left the home where I installed the rebuild kit and the homeowner's low pressure alarm woke him at 4:00 the next morning. After having to make another unplanned house call, I found that one of the small rubber "check valves" had popped out, causing the pump to free-run, making the motor/pump get hot, and not producing any pressure, thus triggering the low pressure alarm. Again, maybe it's just a freak bad part, but I lost more than I saved by going cheaper with the non-genuine kit. I kept the new diaphragms in place, but put the old outer covers back on. We'll see how the diaphragms do. 6/29/2023

Only time will tell how these replacement parts will work. My pump is located indoors in a conditioned space and is not exposed to the elements, so no bugs, dust, or temperature extremes that these pumps are normally exposed to. The OEM parts lasted exactly five years to the day that the new pump was installed. This kit has some parts that you may not need but it had all the parts I needed for my HP80. The center hole of replacement discs would not fit the shaft of the magnetic oscillater and required the hole to be slightly enlarged. I used the exact diameter drill bit as the shaft diameter to bore the hole and it worked perfectly. As previously mentioned, my pump is located in my garage which means I can hear it running when I am in the garage. The pump normally has a slight hum when running, so when the noise increased I knew it was time to check it. One of the diagrams on one disc had cracked, so the pump was still working enough to keep the alarm from sounding. After installing the replacement parts, the pump sounds a lot better, but is not quite as quiet as it once was. At one quarter the price of the OEM parts, I can stand a little extra sound, but time will tell if this replacement part is as good as the OEM parts.

Hole for mounting screw is too small. Had to enlarge with #21 drill bit. Otherwise easy to install. Includes everything need to rebuild pump.

Fit and functions great in my hiblow 80 air pump. Easy to install with a little mechanical ability.

The diaphragm themselves work, it’s a little louder than the hiblow partsI have rebuilt several of these and have always use the hiblow kit. To save money I thought I would try this one. The hiblow uses a nut on its sheer screw that works great. The design on this kit is junk and broke within 24 hours. I put a second one on and it broke within 48 hours. I ended up having to order the nut type sheer screw separately from a specialty store. Next time I will just get the hiblow

My HiBlow 60 is used as part of our Bio Tec domestic waste water treatment system. I noticed the pump had stopped and found the diaphragms had failed after 7 years. The replacement parts kit came very quickly. Fitting the new diaphragms and plates was straightforward and quickly done. All working well now.

The diaphragme bust after only 3 hours of work. The original took 12 years.The check valves off the outer parts broke in less than 30 minutes... I had to took the old one in the garbage too reassemble the pump.The protection nylon screw is replace by a kind off quarter pin in cheap plastic hoo melt by the normal heat off the pump... causing interruption and finish by a power lost.
