This is an attractive way to organize spices. I contemplated other plastic options, but hated the look of them and was concerned they would be cheap quality. This rack is well made & looks great! I ordered two of them to accommodate my numerous spices. I was able to hang them the opposite direction to fit perfectly in my cabinet. This rack easily fits the following brands:- Organics square bottles- McCormick round bottles- Morton & Bassett round bottles- Spice Islands round bottles- Trader Joe's square bottles... honestly I think just about any brand would fit no problem. Highly recommend :)

I am really pleased with my new spice rack. I thought I was going to put them inside my cabinet like another reviewer had posted photos of doing, so I just ordered two. Upon getting them, I realized that I might just be able to fit them on my kitchen wall in an odd blank spot I have had to stare at since purchasing our home. And, sure enough, they fit! So, of course, I decided to order two more and completely fill the space. I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out.To hang them this way, I had to remove one of the brackets on the back and reorient it to hang vertically. The head of the little brass screws strip out super easy. Make SURE you have the right size bit when doing this, and be careful, or you won't be able to screw it back in. I used some little rubber bumpers on the back of the rack to make sure the hanging equipment wouldn't interfere with how the jars sit once installed on the wall. I also used a few tiny finishing nails in the corners to make sure the rack would swing side to side any at all.I only really have a few slightly negative comments about this product, but they are not big enough to effect my overall rating of this product. I REALLY wish they would sell this rack without the filled spices. Since I ordered 4 sets, I certainly didn't need four basil, four parsley, etc. I dumped the extras in plastic bags and gave to relatives that might need to refresh their spices a bit. But it still felt wasteful, and it was a pain to then have to run all the jars through the dishwasher, and then meticulously dry each one just so I could fill them. I also bought a large package of labels so that everything would match. Peeling the original labels off was delightfully easy...they all came off in one piece, with no residue left behind. I was pretty grateful for that. But still, I really wish this set came with just the rack, or with at least empty bottles as well. But that's really not that big of a deal.The only other complaint is that the plastic lid on the jars is pretty flimsy. I knocked over one of the jars, and the lid cracked open. Since I am using this vertically, I have more bottles than spaces, so that's not too big of a deal. But I feel like I should probably find matching bottles soon, since I am sure there will be more casualties to follow.When fitting more than one together, side by side or on top of one another...they will not perfectly match up. There will be fluctuations in the diamonds meeting up evenly. It took A LOT of adjusting to get it somewhat even. I may decide later to take all four down and actually mount them to a board to get them a bit more even. But to be honest, once the spices are in place, you won't notice the uneveness as much. Except the very center diamond where all four meet...that space is a good bit larger than the other spaces. Just know if you are trying to do this, you will really need to map it on a flat spot first, and play around with which ones meet up with one another best. Honestly, if I had more room, I would have done a much more fun, irregular pattern. You could make a really interesting pattern by linking them together in a more random way.Overall, I spent $120 roughly, buying four of these, to put this together like this. But now I have the potential to store roughly 70 jars of spices. I really like the way it looks, and it might feel like a lot of money, but now I have SO much more room in my upper cabinet, it's like I built on more space.

I really like the spice rack, it looks nice, and I use most of the spices it comes with. I would give it a 4-star for that.If you register when you get the rack, you get free spice refills for 5 years. BUT WAIT. This sounds like a steal, but in reality, it is $1 shipping for each spice you order. I verified this by putting 10 spices in my cart. The subtotal was $0 and shipping was $10. So I thought, hey, I might as well order a bunch for $10! So I added 22 more (a total of 32) and the shipping jumped to $32. Still, $1 for a 0.5oz bag of spices is a deal. But I wouldn't say it's exactly FREE. For this, it loses a star.

Well-made spice rack and so far the ingredients are high-quality. The only drawback is that I have a monstrous amount of spices and need another rack to hold both the spices that come with it and my pre-existing spices! Would love if there was an option just to buy the rack itself, because it is very pretty and well-made and fit perfectly into my space.

After ruining the jar lids of my previous spice rack- I painted them with chalkboard paint which didn't stick but didn't totally come off either-I began the search for a new one. So many got bad reviews! So weird for a simple product. When I saw this one was highly recommended I thought I would give it a go. I really loved two things about this, it's bamboo and the free spices. We have bamboo floors and other bamboo pieces. My spices and herbs were mostly out of date, who can afford to replace them all? I'm surprised when people comment on the poor quality of spices. I'm not sure what kind they are buying but I have found the few I've opened to be fresh and fragrant. I like the assortment too, I cook new dishes all the time and will certainly try them all. I wasn't familiar with marjoram,savory or coriander. I looked them up and the dishes to use them in. I added coriander to the slowcooker roast and it was the best roast ever! I used the oregano,in steak tacos,and it smelled so good and the flavor was wonderful. I've used the seasoned salt everyday.With in minutes of getting the spice rack, I found the code for free spices. I promptly went to the website and ordered 20 bags of other spices and extras of the most used ones, 16 dollar shipping. I think that is a great deal. So I guess you have figured out that I recommend this spice rack 100%,Update 3-10-14 I just got the refill spices I ordered just days ago! Still loving this rack of spices. One idea for freshness only open the spices as you need them. Though I was tempted to open them all. The refills are in foil packets, should keep them fresh. They have the ingredients printed on the bag too.

Works ok in my spice cupboard that is very narrow. Was a little overpriced in my opinion. I ordered extra glass containers and am waiting on the additional labels to complete the organization.

This product rocks! Puts the funk in functionality, and looks great in my kitchen! Chose to set it on the counter instead of hang it up, but would feel confident it would hold if I hung it up. The assortment of spices it came with is great, a healthy variety compared to some of the other companies. For the seller being based in New England and being a small business owner myself I absolutely LOVE that it is local to me!Already recommended to family.
