Been running this in my home a year now. Picture shows the old vs new for both 20 micron and 5 micron. Thats stright city water, all my plumbing is pex so these filters have been protecting my appliances and me from stright rust and other stuff. Would consider this a minimum requirement.

Lasts approximately 3 to 4 months.

Replacement for a whole house system. We are on a private well.

The product works great. The only problem for us is they don’t ship to Puerto Rico so I have to find someone to receive it and take it to the post office to send it to me every time we need to replace it. Shipping to PR is just the same as the continental US.

these are exact replacements for the whole house filter system I have. So far I don't notice any quality difference from the ones that came with the system, and these are significantly cheaper. Very happy so far!

I have a very robust water treatment system and the final stage is for flavor. Straight from the city, my water tastes like dog-bath water, and smells the same, along with old egg salad.Prior to these, I only used more expensive 'radial-flow' filters. The (claimed) point of them is to reduce flow restriction while still preserving all the filtration abilities. They are well over twice the price of these, but do only need to be changed twice a year.What can I say besides perhaps I have been duped? These work just as well right now, although I've only had them for a couple weeks. My water has not been restricted more than it was with the 'radial-flow' filters, which is the most surprising thing to me honestly. So how long will these last? How long will my water remain tasteless, odorless, and free-flowing? We will see, but for now I have to give these five stars!

My Viqua D-12 system actually requires 1 x 10" Sediment Filter & 1 x 20" Carbon/Lead Filter. I decided to get this package because I've used many brand name over the years and am familiar with what the filters actually look like. The first image is my system. The second image is my canisters. The fourth image is the Sediment filter after chop saw. The filter rolled a bit at the end of cut causing a bit of raggedness near the end, but I used a sharp knife to cut the excess. I will not try this alone again ... it's definitely a two-person job no matter what method is used to slice these. I'm sure the mfr wouldn't recommend doing this, but I figured they are made in a large roll and sliced in the factory. Twice the sediment filters for a great price.

We're on well water, so these filters do a fantastic job of filtering out sediment first, then making the water taste better through the carbon block. And these are at a good enough price that we can replace the filters on a regular basis. Very happy!
