Color does come off, but
The gold comes off of the whisk part after mixing color, but I kind of expected it. The handles have held up though and the whisks are still in great shape.

Good quality and nice packaging
I purchased these little whisks to add to hot chocolate Christmas packages. They are nicely packaged and will be great to stick in the gift bag.
