Good
Yes it has a smell to it but I don’t think it’s that bad once you put a bag on your head,I think the product worked very well I accidentally used black hair dye instead of brown as I got mine and my mums mixed up and it stripped the colour out almost instantly,my hair is very damaged as half my hair is bleached that’s why I wanted to dye it a block colour and surprisingly the stripper didn’t make my hair fall out with how bad my hair is I highly recommend and will be using the product again if I mess up in the future.

AVOID
I used it the day it came and didn’t do nothing to the colour and ever since I’ve washed my hair every day to try get the stench out it’s like if when the hair is wet it stinks of rotten chicken. Worse product I’ve ever come across. Shouldn’t even be on the shelf to be able to buy. Stay away from it. Disgusting and a waste of money. Avoid

Not as harsh as the Colour B4. Stripped the black build up from my hair and left it a brown/dark red colour. My hair was nice and soft in nice condition after using.

Kinda works depending on what colour you are and want to remove
I have used this product four times over the past few years to remove dark brown build up from long hair and for this is works very well. It does not damage your hair and the colour disappears. When you wash it out it is completely clear so no idea where it goes! You must follow the instructions to the letter. The last time I used it, it was less effective (purchased from Amazon) so I tried again (purchased elsewhere) and it worked so not sure if the Amazon stock is old perhaps?Anyway, as other reviewers have stated the smell is terrible but having just had a bout of COVID, it was an issue for everyone else but not me!Make sure you select the correct one for what you are trying to do as there are two varieties. Also, if you have used a colour that has changed your natural hair, it won't remedy that. It will only remove the colour so you might end up a shade that is not exactly what you expect.

Strips but doesn’t fully take out
It does take out colour build up in your hair but it left mine chestnut red ????from black so please don’t think it will take you back to your oringinal colour it doesn’t it smells like perm solution and takes days to get the smell out won’t buy again

Hair colour change in one day
This product was amazing. One day I thought again to myself why not changing hair colours?Got bored of purple and blue split dye, couldn't really keep up with it and it was annoying after while.First had the wrong colour remover and read the instructions. Needed to change to this blue box here. Since it is for fashion colours like pink, blue, purple etc., I was confident it would turn out somewhat good. Darn, it totally melted all the blue and purple out of my hair. My hair was not damaged, in fact it feels soft and healthy. The icy blonde you see is from pre bleaching in order to make the blue pop. These ends are on the dry side but easily fixable with deep treatment like I did. After I applied the remover I had numerous shades of blonde, but I was not mad at it. It applied easily and no horrible smell occured. Dyed it red anyway, so the shades of blondes were more than enough for my purpose.I love that products like this exist, I really needed a change in hair colour. If you are camelion like me: get this, blonde up and apply your new colour right after. But please do not fry your hair off by changing hair colours like your underwear. I wanted a change after 1 year, which was a long time in between. I badly wanted to just apply one hair colour and be done with it. Instead of applying two colours.I need to re-7apply the red again, first dyeing is of course always there to put back pigments into the hair. Second dye will restore somewhat the bonds and the colour will be deeper. And always (please!) use a good conditioner and/or hair mask. Wait with the second dye one or two weeks. Let your hair relax a little and practice patience. Love your hair, it will love you back. And don't forget to love yourself for who you are. You are great!I am fully happy with my transition back to red and never thought I can make that happen in just one day.I recommend the colour remover (stripper).

Did not work - don't waste your money
I have been colouring my hair for years and have used a wide range of brands. I never had a problem until I used Age Perfect for the first time. The colour I chose was warm golden brown and the colour shown on the pack looked attractive and very similar to previous colours I have used. However my hair did not turn out to be "warm golden brown". The colour I got was very dark - almost black. My hair is long and my fringe and around my hairline turned out slightly lighter but the rest, especially the ends were, as I have said, almost black. Other than get my hair cut short, I didn't know what to do. I tried using a lighter colour but this had no effect. I came across this product and decided to give it a try. It was quite a lengthy, laborious process which I followed to the letter and I left the product on for the maximum time stated. It had no effect whatsoever! My fringe and my hairline which have most grey, remained grey with bright ginger ends. It looked horrendous and the rest of my hair was as dark as ever. I momentarily thought about buying another pack and trying again but the first application had so little effect that I did not feel that it was worth trying it. I have to wait at least 7 days before colouring my hair again and during that period I have to wash my hair at least 3 times. I am currently going through this process. In the meantime I am wearing my hair in a tight bun and I am also wearing a broad hairband. I am spraying my fringe and hairline with Root Perfect which is a temporary spray for touching up roots. In this way I am managing to look reasonably presentable until I colour my hair again. Unfortunately when I colour my hair again, although I will chose a lighter colour, it will not colour all the dark hair I have been left with. This product was a total disappointment and I would advise you not to waste your money.
