The glass teapot is very pretty and allows you to enjoy the color of the tea. It pours nicely, and the filter works well enough that fine grains do not get into your cup. I appreciate that it does not appear to have any plastic parts so I'm not drinking plastic along with tea.

I love this teapot for a few reasons. One, its cute! I can leave it out on the stovetop and its just so cute! It took me two heat ups to find the perfect temp to warm it up on. The first attempt to boil water had it spurting out like crazy. My second attempt, I found the right temp. And by my third attempt I had the temp and time down to a science. Once I make my cup (I make one large cup), I open the lid and leave it out on the stove. Once I'm done with my tea, the teapot is already dry and clean! I do not put tea inside it though, I leave the teabag in my cup.

I must say I'm pretty impressed with it. It's got come clever shaping that combines looks and functionality. The infuser works very well, and this is able to brew stronger tea than steeping a normal tea bag will give. I use mine on the stove top, and it is completely safe for it. I was worried that the thin glass would shatter on the stove, but the glass seems to be of pretty good quality. It still sits pretty under my HI setting. I'd recommend using lower heat at least for the first go, just to make sure that there aren't imperfections or cracks in the glass. The spout has a cute shape and will spit less tea out if you accidentally let it boil over. It tends to catch the splashed water in the curved section. It also pours delightfully smoothly thanks to the little holes in the infuser lid, which really adds to the experience. The infuser itself is good. I was worried that it would leave a metallic taste in the tea, but I didn't notice any differences in taste when I started using it. It's got a lot of openings that allows the tea to diffuse quickly and evenly, which I really appreciate. You can get a lot more out of a tea bag with this than you can out of just dunking and steeping a bag in a cup. This is also really good for loose leaf tea, but I haven't found a loose tea that I really like just yet. I love this pot so much.My only complaints are that the infuser lid isn't insulated from the infuser itself, so it will get pretty damn hot. The infuser is also made of steel, which will inevitably rust in the future as the vanadium is worn away. For this reason, I prefer glass infusers. The glass is also pretty dang thin, so be careful when using it. I wouldn't let it get thrown in the sink or dish washer for fear of it cracking and later shattering on the stove. Also, I saw people asking about using it in the microwave, to which I say be careful. Take the infuser out first before putting the pot inside, because it will spark. Just be patient and use the stove top instead so you can have the tea mix in while the water heats up gradually. The tea will be a bit stronger and you can more easily control the strength and temperature of the tea that way.All in all, I absolutely love this little pot. I just wish I had a bigger one!

Well-designed spout and kettle overall; really, the pour has the best laminar flow of liquid I've ever seen (ie not turbulent, doesn't drip, very smooth flow almost to the point where you're not sure whether water's even moving, allows for airflow to come from a different part of the pot so that the liquid doesn't "gurgle" or form air bubbles). Turbulent flow is unpredictable and what leads to spillage.I don't understand the other reviewers' complaints about it not pouring well and/or pouring slowly. You have to take into consideration that it is a smaller pot (holds roughly 2 mugs' worth of liquid when filled 2/3rds of the way) with a smaller spout, and thus the overall volume flowing out will be less than that of a conventional metal kettle with a larger spout. Just as I would not expect a crane whose carrying capacity is 500 tonnes to carry 1000 tonnes (as that would lead to catastrophic failure), I wouldn't expect this small pot to pour as much volume per minute as a larger kettle because it simply wasn't designed for that.Since it's borosilicate, I've placed the pot directly onto my glass stovetop and heated it without difficulty, but I am mindful that the handle does get hot if I leave it on the stove too long. Handle is designed with a large loop for easy grasp, even with a towel.I've left it on my stove, and oil splatters can get on it from cooking; easy enough to get rid of the dried oil residue with baking soda.
