Rachael Ray Nutrish Purrfect Broths Wet Cat Food Complement, 1.4 Ounce Pouch (Pack of 24), Grain Free

Rachael I would like to say thank you for your wonderful "gravy" from Thailand that is enough to feed 1/2 of a normal sized cat. The amount of gravy in each packet is abysmal and I will not purchase again. On the bright side, my cat did enjoy most of the flavors.

Let me start with the good parts. The cats enjoy the food/treat and eat it immediately. Having said that - I intend to cancel my repeat orders and return an unopened box.The problem is the pouch that the treat is packed in. There is a lot of pouch and a thin layer of food inside. The manufacturers intend you to cut the top off and then squirt the product out, as if it's toothpaste. That approach doesn't work, you may get 60% of the food into the bowl, and the other 40% remains stubbornly in the pouch.To get the remainder out I had to slit the pouch with a knife, but boy this material is tough. I think that it's made of Kevlar, definitely military quality. However, all of the food did eventually come out, but left my hands smelling of tuna and with some stray food spilled on the counter top.The product is expensive and I believe that most of the cost is spent on the packaging rather than the food, and not very functional packaging either.I intend to save all of the empty tuna pouches and have them remade into bullet proof vests, and see if the SEALS or Rangers will be customers, but when I think about it, there is one drawback to this idea, whoever is wearing the vest will reek of tuna, making a stealthy approach to the enemy very difficult. Especially if the enemy are employing guard cats as lookouts, then the game will come to a quick end.

Well, there are both good and unpleasant things to say about this. As far as looks go, this is a terrific product. The size was just perfect for my cat's lunch. A nice broth with an attractive array of both fish and vegetables. My cat loved the broth but wouldn't touch the fish and veggies. I had mainly purchased this for the broth so it wasn't a total loss.One troubling problem I had with this was getting out of the pouch. Cutting the top off the pouch and then pouring the contents into a bowl did not get everything out. I would then use scissors to cut one of the side off. Then you could clearly see that more broth and solids still remained in the pouch, especially at the bottom where the folds of the pouch still contained some broth and even more solids.If this was the only product of this type around, I would continue to buy it because my cat really did enjoy the broth and would lap it all up. The solids though were another story. She wouldn't even try them.

These packets are nearly impossible to open without splattering smelly liquid all over yourself or your counter. It's also hard to get all the meager contents out of the pouch. There is also not nearly enough broth as I would expect from a product billing itself as broth. My cat does like these but only laps up the broth (which there isn't enough of) and doesn't eat any of the solid bits.

I made the mistake of thinking that there would be a decent size proportion in these pouches. There's like a tablespoon of food in each pouch. Make sure when you purchase that you check the oz. amount. I have a 10 year old American Shorthair, normal weight, and I have to give her at least two pouches per meal. That ends up being 4 pouches a day!

I can’t believe that Rachael Ray would put her name on this product. Made in a foreign country, but packaged in the USA. With all the pet food companies in the USA.

I was looking for something a little more liquid to supplement my cat's wet food and this worked perfectly. My cats love it. I wish the packaging was a little different because sometimes I have trouble getting it all out of the pouches - some of the food gets stuck in the bottom.

Terrible. Cats puked. Hated it. Who knows what junk is in this! Never again. Steer clear especially if your cats are older or have digestive issues.
