Brilliant aerial
I needed to replace my aerial, went to look in the loft to see if I can crawl through and reach the coax but to my horror whoever lived here before was a complete donut , I won't go into details but whoever wired the original aerial must have had a good ladder for the golden retriever to climb, anyhoo I frantically searched for alternatives, I saw this aerial and me being a sceptic thought how the hell can something the size of a A4 piece of paper stuck in a window actually work, I thought this is a con, done loads of research, then thought the reviews were a con, then some.more research, and thought 'well maybe I can order one and send it back if it's rubbish', it arrived the next day and took minutes to install, then reprogrammed the TV channel list expecting a disappointment, .....well what can I say, it was amazing, we now have more channels than we have ever had, admitantly most of them are rubbish Freeview ones but at least we have a big choice of rubbish to watch now, the only time the signal drops out is when the dart bloke from down our road sits outside our house revving his rubbish lowered JDM car with the baked bean can exhaust, I mean he doesn't even look like vin diesel, but he thinks he is cool with his lowered car, blacked out windows and music that sounds like it's.from a primary school blaring out, in all honesty when he is sitting in MC Donald's car parks he does.look the part and fits in well with all the other knuckle draggers, so I can't moan too much, we all have choices in life and he has chose to ruin what would otherwise be a really nice late 90s jap car in order to impress at maccy D's but there you go, we all all different and it makes life interesting , except at the moment covid is causing more.problems , bit that review is for theasos purchased recently and don't want to get onto the affects and causes of covid on a review for a tv aerial as that would just be plain silly, a bit like the bloke with the JDM ....again, if you have read this far then I thank you.To sum up the aerial is brilliant, stay away from JDM over modded cars and buy masks for covid but we don't go into that in here.Stay safe

easy setup
I had been using the same indoor aeria for past 10 years and when i moved thatno loger worked. Saw this one and a few others, and thought this suited my new place more. Sure enough the signal is great, and picks up all the freeview channels, so all good.I do need to warn you though, if there is a road outside, and you have this mounted on the window. The signal may drop a bit when certain vehicles go past. Not sure if that due to the vehicle or just the vibrations on the window caused by it.I live on a quiet road where vehicles pass couple times a day, so not really an issueAll in all great buy .

First indoor aerial I've tried which actually works!
I've bought a few indoor aerials in the past and I've ended up returning every single one of them. We are some way from the transmitter and I think that makes it tricky. I saw this being sold by Amazon and they make returns easy so I thought I had nothing to lose by trying it.As you can see by the photo, it's fairly large and not a thing of great beauty. I stuck it on the window as I thought that was the best chance of picking up at least something. I'm not sure I want to leave it there forever. As it actually works, I may move it at some point and try on the wall.I plugged it in, with the included amplifier as I thought "no chance" without (even our roof aerial needs a signal booster). It was pretty easy to plug in but the amplifier does need a source of power and a power socket isn't included. This wasn't a worry for me as I have a USB socket on my TV so I plugged it into that, but it's worth noting.I turned the TV on and set it to tune. It found 109 channels and 23 radio channels. The quality is sharp and the picture is actually better than the TV which is plugged into our roof aerial. I am just gobsmacked. I'm sitting here saying "it actually works! It actually works!" and my husband is laughing at me. We've only ever used this TV as a smart TV before but now I have freeview too. We've drawn the conclusion that technology has moved on over the years - last indoor aerial I tried was 2-3 years ago - and we probably should look at either investing in a better roof aerial or getting rid of it and getting another of these. All of these aerials have mixed reviews - I read a lot before I bought this and this one seemed better than a lot - but I can only say that this worked well for me and as I live at the foot of a lot of hills and a probably 40-50 miles from the transmitter, I'm Not in the easiest area.
