Woodland Station N Scale Kit

great detail easy to put together. lots of small parts. but its ok.

I've built scores of HO scales models and pretty much handled them with ease. But the scale of an N scale model means that everything is small and everything is precise ... from painting to placement of model features. This station is a lovely piece when assembled with loads of details to make it feel like the "real thing". But I'd hesitate to recommend it unless you have the time, patience, coordination, skill and attention to detail to build it. I pretty much concluded that pre-built models are the way to go for my N-scale work if I can find them.

N-scale is not for the faint-of-heart or dim-of-vision! This is a nice-looking building once you get it together and detail it with a single-bristle brush!. Tweezers and a magnifying glass are a must. If you are a hard-core modeler...(I'm not)...you will probably enjoy the challenge. P.S. I'm buying mostly pre-fab in the future. The extra cost is worth it to me

Love it. Looks cool. I painted it the off yellow and brown the way I remember the way they looked back in the 1960's. The scale is perfect for my N-scale layout. Really dressed up the scenery of my track.

I was trying to save money. Little did I know that if you want to save money that's fine...but get ready for a long road of building and painting. Wish it was built already.

It is the beautiful detailed pieces that make this a standout model. It also requires extra care from the model builder. If you enjoy the process of building the model in addition to obtaining a great looking result you won't go wrong with this one.

this is a nice kit and easy to assemble. You will need a solvent type plastic glue to do a good job. What is nice is when finished, all of the clutter around the station looks really neat.
