Audubon Park Songbird Selections 11980 Multi Wild Bird Food with Fruits and Nuts, 15 lb

I bought this for the wild birds in our yard (especially the male cardinal who has sat on the fence staring at me for the last two years). They seem to love it (as does El Destructo, the chipmunk). So, I decided to see what they love so much about it. I have to say, I am a changed person! I love the way this tastes, and it has just the right crunch! The resealable bag really keeps it fresh. Now, I can sit outside with the wild birds and El Destructo while eating the same nutritious food they do! I feel like a new person!

Such a wonderful product for Squirrels, Jay's, Crows, and little birds too. The bits that fall off get eaten by the wild ducks, and even a rat family that lives under our shed. Yes, I know, "ewww, rats" but they are part of the food chain and deserve to live as well. We have hunting birds that feed on them occasionally, owls, falcons and hawks, so they never over populate. Every bit of this food gets eaten, and we get so much enjoyment out of watching them!

The birds love this seed. Within 2 days I have many beautiful songs birds and doves in my yard. I love seeing and hearing them. One problem, there are raisins in the seed. Dogs cannot have raisins made from grapes. My dogs like to eat up what is on the ground from the feeders and I’m concerned about that. Next bag I will make sure does not have raisins.

This mixture attracts so many beautiful birds. I live in the Northeast and I attract all kinds of songbirds when I am using this feed. It is such a wonderful sight to have so many beautiful birds to watch and observe. I keep ordering it and more often than I use to because more and more birds are stopping by to feast.

We spent the extra on this bird seed to attract more chickadees and nut hatches. It worked! They seem to love it. We love having them!Updated 2/2018: The chickadees are still coming and they love it as do the squirrels! However, none of the critters like the millet. It’s left in big piles after they finish everything else. This year we do not have any dark-eyed juncoes, and I guess the millet is for them.

I bought this seed because of the variety of nuts clearly shown in the picture, however, it doesn’t contain the walnuts and almonds clearly shown. Very disappointing as well as misleading. The written description doesn’t include or exclude those particular nuts.Don’t show a picture of what’s clearly not in the package. Maybe not a big deal to some, but that’s why I bought this particular brand...because it was supposed to have such a good nut variety...

I really like the birds this mix attracted, unfortunately, it was unavailable for a repeat purchase. I had to go elsewhere to get more.

The birds & squirrels around my house love this stuff! I've had finches, cardinals, blue jay's (even though they're mean they're beautiful!) & all kinds of different birds.
