Overall, I love this hat!Size/Color: The fit is spot on. I wear a 7 3/8. I ordered a 7 3/8 and it's a perfect snug fit. Neither tight nor lose. This hat is the end of search for the perfect brown hat. I've been to several western stores, and ordered three hats online from Sheplers this month trying to find a new daily wear work hat. This one is the winner by a long shot. The hat comes in Mink and Brown but the add only shows the Mink - I'm assuming that's what the tan image is. There is a customer image of a brown hat. I was very relieved when I opened the box to discover the customer image is spot on with the brown.Shaping: I used a clothes steamer to loosen up the crown and brim a bit. I don't like hats to be so stiff they get knocked off the head if the brim hits the door frame getting in/out of my truck or flies away in a gust of wind. The crown was easiest to custom shape of any hat I've ever purchased. The crease and dent molded perfectly to my hand and head with no more than five minutes of playing with it. The brim is more rounded than squared which isn't ideal for a work hat. That is not a critique on the quality of the hat! Just letting you know the brim may need a little shaping if you're expecting it to block the sun and wind. For that I have it at a shop that is more skilled than I at reshaping a brim.The hat band is glued on, not stitched to the hat. Again, not a critique, it was actually a good thing making it a lot easier to remove and swap out with something a little more my style. The hat band it came with is a little bland and doesn't do much for it on the brown hat.If Amazon allows for review editing, I'll come back and add a photo when I pick it up.

Really nice hat but my other Stetson fits like a glove at 7 3/8 but this one I can't get on my head. Love the color and look of the hat so I will try to exchange and see it it will fit.

Perfect fit and quality feel, not waterproof but rain doesn't hurt it. A good value product.

It ran really small

I been wanting a gus crown for a while. This was an excellent choice. It does run small. I am usually a 7 1/8 but I had to get 7 1/4. Size up, you won't regret it.

The fit was perfect and look great. The hat size I ordered was a true fit.
