This dimmer worked great right out of the package for my lamp project. I make lamps on the side and I have found a perfect match to dum the bulbs to give that perfect ambient glow. Highly recommend this dimmer and cord.

Works really well easy to install just takes a couple of minutes. I have a 20 yr old craft light and replaced the foot switch with these and it works great.

This is the second one I’ve purchased. I use these for custom lamps that I construct for a hobby. They’re really great switches and give you a lot of control for light intensity.

Easy to install once you figure it out. Just follow the included diagram. It’s not high quality, but you get 3 for the price of what one would cost at your local home store. So great value. I Installed 2 of the 3. Attaching the wire to the switch housing seems flimsy. The exposed wire sits, but isn’t fastened to the internal housing. No screws to tighten, simply relies on the torsion from bending the wire to maintain contact. Wasn’t sure it was going to work, but does. The switch I did replace, had screws to secure the wire to the switch contacts. Had to replace one of those because someone dropped a heavy object on one and the other was adding the floor switch and removing the knob at the light bulb.As long as it works, I guess I’ll be happy. Just seems to lend itself to needing to be re-attach in the future.

Works as expected and would purchase again if needed. Recommend purchase.

Might have missed this in the write up but there was no “female” plug on the other end of the cord. So, luckily my husband had one and was able to wire on. For the cost do think it could have been included. The brightness dial works all right.

Just what is highly needed for repairing any light fixtures & again on the great Amazon

I used this for an existing lamp that I’d like to dim to create some ambience lighting. It’s a lamp I don’t use much so on the third time turning it on - it made a weird noise and now no longer works. I’m an electrician so I know how to properly splice and add this dimmer and I know it wasn’t the issue with that. Super sad about this product and even sadder that it’s so hard to get ahold of the seller

My bedroom lamps are a bit out of reach and it's a pain to turn them on & off. With this, I can now control the light and keep it dim, and turn it off from right next to me. I wish I thought of this sooner! Works great,would buy again in a heart beat!

Installed according to instructions for a string of dimable led lights. Worked fine for a month and now don’t allow lights to use full brightness. Dims the lower half but stops at about half brightness
