MINKA-AIREF474L-WH Concept II 52 Inch 3 Blade Outdoor Ceiling Fan Close to Ceiling with Integrated 14W LED Light in White Finish

Installed on bedroom ceiling . The instruction manual is written well so installation isn't bad. Just a note to be careful installing wall remote. Read both the remote instructions and the trouble shooting instructions because after the power is turned back on, there is a short process on starting the remote which is important in setting a frequency. We are happy with the fan. I set it on medium speed and it gives just enough breeze to sleep under comfortably. I had to get used to the wall remote. I set it now to medium speed and just use the on/off switch .

Although it took longer for them to arrive than originally promised, these fans were worth the wait. Relatively easy to install, as ceiling fans go. Very quiet and move a lot of air. Very pleased. Also purchased the companion remote and that works very well also. Minka fans are the best I've found.

My only complaint is that this fan arrived without a safety cable. Installing it without being able to hang if from the designated hook would have been very difficult. If the purpose of the cable is to act as a guarantee that this 32 pound fan does not end up on someone's head, then perhaps they should have ensured it had one.As it worked out, I found a section of thin cable in my shop and MacGyvered my own. It worked well for the installation process, but hopefully it never gets tested in a fall.

I bought 2 fans neither fan came with a handheld remote as stated in the description. It has a wall remote that you have to direct wire! I had to order 2 handheld remotes separately at $26.00 each.One fan works fine the other fan continues to turn on by itself and I have had the installer come back several times to reprogram the RF signal. Turn it off at night and the fan is on in the morning!Don't recommend

This is my third Minka Aire fan I have installed in my house. They are all great but this new mode with the LED light is superb. Quiet fan and now the light gives off practically no heat and is much brighter than the previous model which is only halogen. I wish you could upgrade the older models.

Love the look and the quietness of the fan. Works Much better than the 5 blade fan I had. Looking to 2 more next month.. .

Advertised with a remote, but “remote” included must be attached to wall. Misleading! Fan itself is quiet
