With these, even my special needs son (who has some challenges with fine motor skills) is able to use chopsticks like so many others in the family. Any time the younger kids find out I'm cooking stir fry, they immediately rush to grab these. Seeing the smiles on their faces when they were able to use them the first time was priceless!If you're looking for trainer/kids chopsticks, I strongly recommend these!

gave these to my 6 and 3 year old granddaughters while eating out at a Japanese restaurant. They love them and were using them right away, even the 3 year old had no problem.These are so inexpensive yet made such a positive experience for them. they seem made well, but I don't know how long they'll last, but at that price you can't go wrong!they loved being able to participate in the experience of Japanese cuisine and they seem much easier to use than the ones they give out tied with rubber bands since they're much smaller and fit kids hands so much better.

I'll give credit to the design. It's really cute. Purchased this for my kids to practice using chopstick. They can't seem to pick up the noodle. I watched both kids ( 7+ years old) struggling to pick up a piece of noodle. The chopstick kept crisscrossed itself. It doesn't matter how they held it. I even try and I can't get to properly work and yes i have been using chopstick over 40+ years. In closer look, it looks like the circle that hold the chopstick is not secure enough since the stick wobble back and forth. They end up using fork for the noodle. A little disappointed.

first tired them out eating pho and they worked awesome!! I think my son ate more than he usually does because he was enjoying it so much. they open wide enough and easy to close for a child. I would of paid this price just for one pair.

My children always want to use chopsticks when they see my wife and I use them. These are great for them so they don't feel like they are being left out. They are easy to clean and my children enjoy using them. The colors also pop and instantly got my 2-year-olds attention. Great quality for the price.

My Granddaughter gets jealous when I use my chopsticks and then frustrated when she tries. She is 3 yrs old. These within a minute or two had figured them out! Even better it made eating fun for her so she ate a plate full rather than us pushing at her to eat the "healthy" stuff she did it without asking. Well worth the money!

Nice product. My little one pulled them apart but they simply snap back together again. Very nice.

Don't put it in the dishwasher. The hinge will lose its "spring" and will not automatically open/separate the chopsticks.
