Every time my British husband makes sweet tea with this my southern friends and family all want to know what he did differently because it is so much better than what they have made for decades. He says it is simply the tea that you begin with. Instead of the dust you get in most tea bags, you actually see little rolled tea leaves in Taj Majal. It is soooo good. The very best.

If you want to prepare tea in bags this is the best tea you can get. The quality of the leafs is great. Though, for making tea in a samowar you need tea with bigger leafs. This one is too strong to keep it for long period in hot water.

If you are looking for orange pekoe black tea, you won't go wrong with Taj Mahal. I like to steep my own tea and this is perfect. I use 1 heaping tablespoon per quart of sweet tea that I'm going to make.

Very bitter. I like strong flavors but this tea makes my mouth pucker. I'm guessing it's probably good for getting kidney stones too.

It is the best black tea I can buy in the U.S.A. I do not know of any other brand. The price is much higher.

Sadly, the last 3 boxes I’ve purchased were not pure. There were bits of green leaves, stems, etc in the tea. This has always been my favorite strong tea. But the quality has definitely gone downhill. Shameful.

I actually wanted this type of tea because it is simply tastes great. The box and description state that it is "loose leaf" , but it resembles course ground coffee. I have some friends who are from India and they only buy this tea from their import store. You might need a fine screen or filter.
